EMILY

I bumped into something hard, I didn't notice what it was and turned around to see Bolt standing behind me panting.

"Emily, I swear I didn't mean to do that. I didn't expect that reaction from you." Bolt shouted at me.

"Don't talk to me!" I spat and turned around to walk away from him when I bumped into the hard thing again.

"Emily?" I lifted my head when a husky voice called for my name, a shiver ran down my spine when my eyes met the most beautiful hazel eyes ever. Justin?

"Justin?" I gave him a confused look, wondering how I landed in front of him with my hands on his hard chest feeling his fast heartbeat. SHIT! I jumped away realizing how close we were, without breaking our eye contact.

"Mom I'll call you." I heard him talk to the phone before he slide it in his pocket.

I couldn't look away due to how deep his eyes were, I stood there studying his eyes carefully, filled with an unknown emotion.

"Who is he?" Bolt inquired.

I suddenly shifted my gaze from those beautiful orbs to Bolt. Ughhhhhhh.

"Oh...uh...this is Justin. My new friend." I started. Just friends *sigh*

"And Justin this is Bolt. My enemy." I said, rolling my eyes at Bolt, with a hint of sarcasm.

"Heyyy! I'm not her enemy. She's my girl." He spoke to Justin, I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him again when he called me 'my girl'.

"And I'm sorry alright." He looked at me.

"Sorry, my ass, I hate you." I said, as I looked at Justin, who was taking his phone out of his pocket.

"I'm sorry for disturbing, umm...I didn't mean to." I said, NERVOUSLY with a frown on my face.

He gave me a bored final glance, unlike how he was looking at me minutes ago, before walking away without responding to me. THATS RUDE!

I kept staring at his back until he disappeared in the crowd. A sad emotion peeped in, I kicked it back. Your finals are here, remember? No boys babe! YES! RIGHT! NO BOYS!

Bolt was now standing next to me, looking at me. I looked at him from the corner of my eye, not moving my head or any other part of my body.

"I'm sorry, love." He said, softly. His hand on my shoulder. I cringed at his touch and the word love.

"First of all, stop calling endearments, I have a name and it's E-M-I-L-Y, Emily. And second of all, keep your hands to yourself." I stated, slapping his hand away.

"Fine. Emily...We need to get over this project today." He said, his eyes darkened and his muscles tightened. I didn't care and nodded at him.

~

"Finally!!" I said, sighing in relief, shutting the books and keeping the now-done project file in my bag.

"Yes, finally." Bolt smirked. Ugh

I ignored his gaze, and dialed on Jane's number.

"Hey. Where are you guys?"

"We're heading to the McDonalds."

"See you. Bye."

I hung up on her and started walking. I continued walking, I could sense Bolt following me and it didn't bother me. We reached in front of the elevator.

"Hey! Are you ignoring me?" Bolt, stood beside me waiting for the elevator to come.

"You feel so?" I asked, cracking my fingers and not sparing a single glance at him.

The lift opened as we stepped inside and the lift started moving.

"I know so. Is it because of the guy Justin?" WHAT THE HELL?

"Excuse me?" I spun around to face him.

"I've seen you look at him and talk to him bizarrely." He stepped closer to me, his eyes piercing into mine.

"Do you hear yourself? I barely know him." I took a step backward nervously. My heart banging inside my chest.

"Emily Woods, I want you to stay away from him." He sounded like a villain from the 70's, making my blood pressure high.

THE NERVE OF HIM. Who is he to order me and act all bossy? I pushed away the terror which was now replaced with fury. and that's when I heard a Ding and the lift flew open.

I stepped outside without responding to whatever bullshit that came out of his mouth, shooting a venomous glare and walking to the McD.

"Emi-."

"Not a word, Bolt." I said reaching in front of the restaurant.

He didn't utter a word when we reached the family table, Everyone waved at me with a hi and a welcome hugs.

I took a seat in front of...JAMES.
Shit, he is really staring at me like I used to stared at my teacher while she gave us homework.

James, the creepy jail-breaker. Not exactly, but he looks like one.
