"Oh my baby has grown up to be a handsome young boy!" I cooed at my nephew Kace who have just arrived from the airport.
He lifted his sunglasses up on his head and looked at me.
"Call me a man, not a boy" He corrected me in a cute manner, trying to sound cool.
"Yeah! So, how much did you miss your beautiful Amy, my handsome "MAN". I replied, squatting down and holding his hands.
He calls me Amly because he can't pronounce Emily? I don't know why!
He lifted his right hand out of my grip and placed it under his chin, tapping the index finger on his jaw, THINKING.
His action made me feel sooooo happy! I abruptly pulled him into a tight embrace, squeezing him which made his gogs fall.
"Ahh, Amly, I will sleep!" He screamed, I pulled away and gave him a questioning look.
"You'll sleep?"
"Yeah, when a tree fell on the neighbors dog. Dad said he slept for a long time because of so much force and then he was put into a wooden box. So, if you put force on me I will sleep too." He explained cautiously, I was shocked at how perfectly the words flowed out of his mouth.
"Ok but I thought you were strong like Superman" I fake frowned and sat on the floor.
"Oh-oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad but I like Batman more."
"If done with your nephew, please pay heed to your poor sistet right here!" I heard Kylie's voice.
I jumped up and hugged her tightly. We stayed like that for 5 minutes or we could have stayed for longer but we were interrupted.
"Awww, what's happening here? Is anyone missing me?" Eric spoke making me move back. I walked up to him and hugged him as well.
He have always been like an older brother to me since Kylie's college days. I did miss him as well.
"Mom, Amly is your sister? Kace asked Kylie.
"Yes honey, she is my little sister." She replied.
"When will I have a sister?" He asked innocently. I choked on my lungs and bursted out laughing.
Kylie and Eric remained shocked and embarrassed.
"You'll have a sister too!" Kylie said, not making him realise anything.
"When?" He asked.
"Soon Kace!" She laughed, awkwardly.
"Why delay? It takes just a night to make her." Eric commented looking at Kylie with secret seduction, I laughed my guts out.
Oh my God, how much I love him.
I stood up after laughing and we walked together to the dining room. Everyone seemed to be seated. Melly wanted to sit beside kace and she did.
