EMILY
"She really likes him?" Stephen looked at me with tad of hurt in his expression.
"Yeah sort of..." I replied, swinging my legs back and forth. I wasn't sure about her feelings either.
"Hmmm..."
We were silent for two minutes enjoying the view, sitting on top of the tree watching the sunset.
Stephen wanted to hangout and spend some quality time with me because we rarely hangout these days we stay busy with stuff.
"Emzy..."
"Hmm.." we both were still looking at the setting sun.
I love sun sets, it shows how everything that shines bright has a side where they don't want to be seen anymore, they need a break. But even when they leave, they still have a great impact on your life, That, too long of them not being in your life makes everything seem incomplete.
"Have you ever fallen in love?"
I snapped my head to see him, while he was still looking at the almost gone sun.
Is he seriously asking me this? He knows I don't like-
"I know you don't like relationships and dating, but... Crush? Don't tell me you don't have any cause I won't believe you" he gave me a confident glance.
"Crush....." I stretched the word, thinking of names and people and then my mind reminded me.
Justin.
No!
Yes!
No!
Yes!
Yes.
"Who is it?" he asked
"N-no o-one." I stuttered not wanting to tell him cause I wasn't even sure if that's a crush. He's just...
"Emzy!!! you can trust me... you know that"
"Only if you te-"
His phone started ringing, interrupting our conversation. He gave me apologetic look and answered the call.
His face suddenly turned into a scowl and he stiffened. He muttered an 'ok' and hung up, starting to climb down, I silently followed him.
Before I could ask something, he spoke.
"I'm sorry emzy, I gotta catch up with something...ummm rather important... " he scratched the back of his neck. I nodded understanding he might not want to share anything more.
"Thanks and sorry... I'll soon see you." he gave me a quick hug and drove off.

I started walking to the coffee shop, plugging in my earphones playing It ain't me - Selena Gomez.
It's been months since I've had mocha latte from my favourite coffee shop.
I reached Betty's Coffee, the bell dinged as I walked in.
Sasha seemed shocked to see me there after 5 months. She works at the reception and we were good friends until I had health issues cause of milk contents and had to take a break from them. But today I felt like drinking it.
Once in 5 months won't harm me.
"Emily's alive?" Sasha gave me a confused yet sarcastic look, as I shook my head.
"No, I'm Emily's ghost! Nice to meet you" I faked the ghostish tone and we bursted out laughing at how stupid and lame I sounded, and then I pulled her into a tight hug.
