My Bad Boy

Chapter Eight - Guilt

      I barely slept last night, my mother's words kept replaying in my head.

     I cried till I couldn't cry no more. I called Tyler to come and give me a drop to school.

     Zack came to drop me but my mother told him I was going to school late. I was already dressed and listening from behind the living room wall.

   I hear a car horned and I got my bag and kissed my sister goodbye before heading for the door.

   I past my mother straight and was about to open the door, when someone grabbed my hand.

   "Don't even think about talking to him at school" My mother said harshly gripping my hand.

    I pull my hand away and slammed the door. When I reached in the car Max was in the backseat and Tyler was watching me suspiciously.

    "What?" I ask flicking my eyes between the two.

    "Why didn't you go with Zack?" Max asks first.

    "And why did he tell us you were coming late?" Tyler adds.

    I told them everything that happened after my mother told Zack to leave.

    By the time I was finished, we had already reached to school and was parking the car.

When we came out the car, we were greeted by Jabari, Reshaun and Cole. We walked down the hallway together and split up when I reached my locker.

   "Good luck today" Tyler wishes me as he gives me a hug.

    The guys go to football practice and Emma, Lilly and Alex came to meet me by my locker.

     The four of us were in the washroom so I could tell them everything.

   I told them the same thing I told Tyler and Max. They were broken by the news and they didn't know what to say.

    "I'm so sorry girl" Emma said and hugs me.

     Lilly and Alex join the hug and I started to cry.

    "Are you going to end things?" Alex asks sadly.

   "I don't know" I say honestly.

   "What do we have here?" Kaitlyn asks her minions as she walks in the bathroom.

   "It's the hoes" Brianna laughs.

    "The only hoes I see in here is you girls!" I snap her.

      Lilly tries to pull me from walking up to Kaitlyn but I didn't stop.

     "What did you just say?" Kaitlyn asks.

    "Bitch you heard me!" I yell at her.

    "I'm with Zack if you didn't hear" I add.

     Kaitlyn looks like she was about to die, when I said that last line. She turns to Brianna and the rest of her minions.

     "Did you all know about this?" She asks shouting.

    "We... We... We didn't know how to..." Brianna was cut off by Kaitlyn slapping her.
   
     Brianna looks at Kaitlyn in pure shock. Kaitlyn turns back to me with tears in her eyes.

    "I wish both of you the best" She says with a sad smile.

    "What?" I ask confuse.

    "I'm sorry for all the things I said" Was the last thing she said before tears started streaming down her cheeks.
