We spent the next day walking down the beach and into town, shopping until we couldn't shop anymore. By the time we got back later that night, we were all exhausted.

I'm laying next to Zack on the bed as I watch my new favorite series "All American" while as Zack focuses on his phone.

His phone rings and he comes off the bed and walks to the balcony before answering.

I try my hardest not to ease drop but I couldn't help myself. I got off the bed and followed behind him.

"I know what I'm doing! I'm in charge Curtis!" He growls.

I thought Zack was acting normal and calm for him.

Why is he talking to him like that?

"Just take your orders! Or I'll find someone else who will" He yelled but quickly hushed himself remembering I'm in the room.

"Is that a threat?" Zack's voice becomes low. "Didn't think so" He hangs up.

I quickly rush back to the bed.

He walks back into our room and I avoid eye contact.

"Who was that?" I ask him.

"It was nobody important Ash" He lies down next to me, taking the laptop off of me.

"Who was it then?" I ask, silently praying that he tells the truth.

"It was Curtis" He finally answered.

"What did he want?"

"He just wasn't sure about my orders to remain away from The Thorn's" He sighed.

"I'm glad you listened to me" I said playing in his hair.

"I better call Axel and see how they're doing" I state and pick up my phone but Zack grabs it

"Let's just enjoy this moment, calm them after" He almost looked desperate for me to not call them so I nod.

He climbs on top of me and looks deep into my eyes. He lowers his head and kisses me deeply.

"I love you" He says in a deep voice.

"I love you too" I say before wrapping my legs around his back, drawing him closer to me as his hands travel up my jersey.

"Someone quick take a picture! Alex is actually helping in the kitchen!"

Alex responds by lobbing a wooden spoon at her boyfriend, which he easily deflects with a laugh.

We've been here 4 days and we were already sick of only eating various types of barbequed meats for lunch and dinner. Alex, Emma and I decided to make dinner for the guys.

The only problem is that the house is open concept, so there are no walls dividing the kitchen and T.V area. This is a problem because it's raining outside and they're bored, which means annoying us is their only form of entertainment.

"Can you just let us finish dinner and go play or something" Emma said giving Alex another spoon since she lost hers.

"It's raining outside" Cole says as he takes a cucumber from the salad we just finished preparing.

"Go play video games with Tyler and Max" I suggest.

"They don't play fair" Cole says as he goes to take another cucumber but Alex swats his hand away and he gives her puppy dog eyes.

She rolls her eyes, but still ends up falling for it, giving him another slice before moving the salad to another counter.

"Maybe if Zack would come downstairs maybe they'd play fair" Jabari rolled his eyes.
