****The next day****
Today was the day I was moving out of the Walker house. Physically packing wasn't an issue, since I didn't have much of my belongings here, but I'll still miss sleeping next to Zack.
So although it was hard moving out of Zack's house, I knew it was coming, having stayed there close to two months.
"I'm going to miss you" I say to Zack as I hug him.
"Babe it's right across the road, I'll see you still" He said but that didn't reassure me.
"Zack come on already, we have to go to the dinner" Mr. Walker said.
"Yeah alright" Zack replied.
"What dinner?" I asked confused.
"Umm... My dad's friend invited us to dinner" He said but it kind of looked like he was lying. But I quickly brushed it off because I know he'll never lie to me.
"Ok, love you, see you at school tomorrow" I say as I give him a quick peck.
"Yeah love you too, see you tomorrow" He said as he watches me go into my house.
When I got in the house, I went up to my mother's room.
"Mom where are you going dressed up?" I ask in a teasing tone.
"Well believe or not on a date" She said smiling widely and my jaw dropped.
"What! No way!" I say jumping up.
I'm so excited because my mom hasn't been on a date in a long time. Plus I get to have Zack over if her date goes well, if you know what I mean.
"I know, I'm excited too" She said looking at herself in the mirror.
"Excited about what?" Alexis asks coming into the room.
"Mom has a date" I tell her and she starts to do a happy dance.
"Please stop, my eyes" I say teasing her.
"Whatever" She said before hitting me with a pillow.
We all started laughing, I picked up a pillow and we kind of had a pillow fight.
Knock knock
"That must be him!" My mom squels excitedly.
"Mom relax" I tell her.
She walks downstairs and Alexis and I follow. She opens the door to reveal a man with a cigarette in his mouth.
"You look hot" He said taking out the cigarette and blowing the smoke. He didn't even acknowledge Alexis and my presents behind her.
"Thank you Frank" She said twirling her hair, which made me gag.
My mom turns and glares at me before turning back to her date.
"I'm sorry where are my manners, come in" She said moving aside.
He walks into the house, still smoking and it was irritating, because I have asthma.
"You can't smoke in here" I say folding my arms.
He watches me up and down and winks before using our table as a damn ashtray.
"Is that better sweetheart" He said licking his lips.
I cringe my face in disgust before nodding. My mother glares at me once again before going upstairs for her purse.
Alexis and I go into the living room and put on the tv. My mom's date, so called Frank also decided to come.
