Chapter Thirty-four - We need a break💔

Stacy, Joanne and I was in the living room watching a movie. We chose to watch a romantic comedy, nothing to bloody. We wanted to laugh and say aww at the same time and forget about our lives for a minute.

Stacy was sitting on the floor next to me and Joanne sat on the sofa putting my hair into a fishtail braid.

This is our third movie, and the boys didn't come back yet. Hannah had woken up a few times but Stacy had put her back to sleep each time.

"I knew they'd end up together" Stacy said stuffing popcorn in her mouth.

"I think everyone knew that was coming" I laughed.

We are watching the proposal. I had watched this show a dozen times but Joanne and Stacy didn't even see it once.

I guess being  stuck in the gang life has prevented them to experience fun sometimes.

The movie ended and Joanne was finished with my hair. We clean up our messes and turn off the TV.

We were about to walk into the kitchen just when the front door opens and the boys walk in.

"You three are still up?" Asher looks at us surprised.

"Yes, we are" Stacy smiles.

"Stacy you ready to sleep?" Trevor asks her and she nods.

"I can take the snacks" I say and she hands them to me before walking upstairs with Trevor.

"Asher, Jax and Axel, time for bed" She told her sons before walking into the kitchen.

Phoenix was about to walk behind when I stop him. "Thanks for the room" I smiled at him.

"It wasn't a problem" He said with a serious expression.

He tries to walk but I block him again. "Do you ever smile?" I ask curious.

"There's nothing to smile about" He answered and I moved out of his way so he can pass.

"Don't study him, he's always like that" Jax said.

"I'll keep that in mind" I smiled. "What happened tonight?" I ask.

"You know we can't tell you" Asher said.

"Why not, I'm your sister" I grin.

"You're using the sister card, really?" Axel laughs.

"I have to some day"

"Well if you must know, it went great" Axel said.

"Yeah, you should see them" Jax said.

"Do the Rebels look worse than you?" I ask staring at my brothers.

"We don't look that bad" Asher said.

"If you say so" I laughed before walking into the kitchen.

I see Joanne and Phoenix talking and he looks angry. "I thought we agreed we would show her together" He said annoyed.

"Well you weren't here" Joanne answered.

"She's my daughter" He hissed.

"I look at her as mine too" She hissed back.

"It's totally fine" I say and they both look at me. "I heard both of you arguing"

"It's fine darling" She said. "Come bring the things and go to bed, you have school tomorrow"
