Hawaii

  **Beau's Point Of View**

  I skip around my room trying to show Lila how to skip forat least 20 minutes. "It's all in the legs!" I say, lapping my room. She nods. "Okay," I say stopping at my bed where she and Luke are sitting and Luke has managed to find the headband we had in the video and put it on her. "Now you try." I say and she gets up. She takes a dramatically deep breathe and I take her spot on the bed. She starts to skip and I can already see faults. Her legs aren't high enough, she should have her arms tucked in, she needs better posture. "No!" I yell, and she stops dead in her tracks. "It's all wrong!" I put my face in my hands and she bursts out laughing. All of a sudden she pats her pockets.

  "Hey- where's my phone?" She facepalms herself, "It's in the car! I bet Dame called. I'll be back guys." Luke and I watch her walk out and then I turn to him.

  "She's the worst skipper I've met in my entire life, oh my god." I say to him.

  "You gonna try and teach her?" I shake my head, that is way too hard. "I'm sure she'll learn with time." I laugh out loud and he joins me. It's been a few minutes and Lila bursts into the room.

  "Guys!" She has a really excited look on her face and I stand up and walk over the her, she jumps on me and squeezes. "Guess what!?" She yells at me, excited still.

  "What?" I ask, smiling at her, she's never really been this excited in front of me.

  "I'm going to Hawaii!!" She screams and jumps up and down. What amazes me is she starts skipping perfectly  around my room. "I'm so excited you have no idea!" She says excitedly.

  "Wait, you're what? For how long?" I ask, worried about her. She stops skipping in front of me and takes my hands.

  "Well, I have to go get shots for disease or whatever and then Dame are going to Hawaii for 5 days!" She beams and wraps her arms around my neck, kissing me. I kiss her back and then Luke speaks up.

  "No PDA, please!" We laughs and she settles for hugging me.

  *The Next Evening*

  *Lila's Point Of View*

  "This'll only hurt for a sec." The doctor says and grips my arm, poking the needle into my skin. I clench my teeth, because it hurts like a mother! Dame's holding my hand and has already got his needles. We just got our passports and are leaving tomorrow. The doctor wipes off my arm and puts a bandage on the needle hole. I smile at him and Dame fills out paper work before we leave. Once home, I go to my room to start packing. I open my door, turn on my light and am suprised to see Beau napping on my bed.

  "Um, Beau?" I say, now at the bed side. His eyes open and he smiles up at me. I laugh and then he does. "How'd you get here?" He sits up.

  "I got in through your window. Sorry. I wanted to help you pack for the trip, and I got you something." I smile at him and he reaches into a bag on the floor beside the bed, pulling out a jar with a lot folded cue cards inside of it. "There's a message or pick-up line on each one for everyday of the year. Hand written by yours truly." He smiles and hands it to me. I take it and hold it close to my chest.

  "I love it, Beau. They'll light up my days even more when I'm on vacation." I smile at him and he stands up, walking over to me and kissing me on the lips. He pulls away and takes the jar, setting it on my nightstand.

  "That's not all." He grins and I laugh. He goes over to the bag and takes out a t-shirt. He holds it out to me and I un-fold it. It's a shirt that says 'I ♥ Beau Brooks.' I smile at it and look up at him. "And you have to skype me everyday you're there. Okay?" I nod, and put the shirt on over my yellow sundress. He pulls me close and hugs me for a long time. i'm beginning to feel bad about leaving, but excited to be going to Hawaii. He pulls away and walks over to my closet, opening it up and getting my 3 suitcases. He sets them on the floor, wide open and sets the jar in one. It fits perfectly, and he starts going through my clothes. "You're going to need fsome dresses, sweaters and shorts, t-shirts. Oh man, I should've brought you one of my hoodies to keep you warm at night. I feel bad now. I can't believe that I didn't." He throws some clothes in the suitcase and goes on talking as I sit on my bed, feeling sad and worried. I rub at my arm which is throbbing now. The doctor lied to me, it hurts a lot more now. "Hey?" I look up and he's looking at me. "Are you okay?" He asks, and I nod.

  "I'm okay." I say, and look at my suitcases, filled now. I get up and go into my bathroom, starting to pack my bathroom stuff. He comes in the bathroom and wraps his arms around my waist. I look up at him in the mirror. "You don't want me to go, do you?" I ask quietly and Beau looks at the floor. "I wouldn't go if this wasn't a once in a lifetime thing." I turn around and hug him tightly. "It's getting late." I say. "I don't want you to go..." I say and hug him a bit tighter, he puts his hands on my face and kisses me.

  "I won't leave if you want me to stay." He says and I nod. "Are you tired?" I nod.

  "But we need to fold my stuff and put it in the suitcase right," I say and he nods, pulling me back into the bedroom. We sit on the floor and each take a suitcase. We start folding and then I put my underwear in my suitcase. I smile at him and lay on my bed once we're all done. I groan and then get up again, finding some gym shorts. I put them on under my dress and take my dress off without taking off my shirt. I smile at Beau who is now on my bed.

  "Impressive." He says, and then yawns. I shut my light off and walk over to my bed, I lay down and Beau wraps his arms around me, pulling me close. He presses his lips to mine and we just kiss for a while. I hug him after we finsih kissing and we fall asleep in eachother's arms.

  *Vacation Day*

  Beau had to go home earlier in the morning, and later I walk out into the living room. My brother is making us food and he looks at my shirt. "Really?" I nod.

  "He gave it to me." I laugh and he puts eggs and toast on the counter. We eat together and he asks me if I'm packed after we're done. "Yeah. What time is the flight?" I ask.

  "Noon. Are you getting your friends to come say bye?" He asks and I reach for my phone, texting Beau, James, Daniel, Jai and Luke. I don't forget Elli and text her last. He laughs and I go to my room to bring my things to the living room. I change while I'm at it into a skirt and t-shirt. After Dame and I are ready, before I know it we're at the airport. It's 11:30 and I'm waiting for everyone to get here and say goodbye. I take a seat on a nearby bench and about 20 minutes later I look up from my phone.

  That's when I see his face. Beau's. And he looks so sad it makes me want to break down and cry. When he looks up and makes eye contact with me, I get up and run towards him and we embrace. "Lila. I'm going to miss you so, so much." He mumbles into my hair and I realise I'm tearing up. Out of sadness and happiness. "I love you." He means it this time and I cry out of pure happiness. I hug him tighter and he kisses me.

  "I love you, too, Beau." I cry in his arms and see a tear go down his cheek. "Don't cry." I say and he wipes away the tear, kissing me again.

  "Get off my best friend! We need hugs too!" Elli yells, pushing Beau and we laugh as she hugs me tight. "I'll miss you Lila!" I hug her, and she lets go, letting James and Daniel both run up to me and bear hug me.

  "We'll miss you too, Lila." They same in unison and I hug them both tight. They each kiss my cheek and then Jai and Luke take their spots, hugging me and kissing my cheeks.

  "I'll miss you both a lot." I say and they kiss my cheek again. I grin at them and then they let go. Beau immediately runs over to me again and hugs me tight. "I'll miss you so much." I hug him tight and he can't keep his lips off me.

  "I'll miss you more than you can imagine." He whispers and then kisses me again. I've managed to stop crying and then we hear the announcement.

  "Flight 704 to Hawaii now boarding."

  Beau kisses me long and hard and then hugs me really tight. Everyone else joins the hug and then they let me go. Beau kissses me one last time and I leave. I turn back before going through security and everyone is comforting Beau. Hugging him. I can't look and then Dame and I board our plane.
