Naps And PDA

I wake up and have a text from Beau, I smile and slide my phone's lock to read it. 'When you guys wake up, come meet Jai and I at our house.' I read the address, and look over at Elli, who's still asleep. It's almost 10am. I decide to take a shower and when I'm done, she's still sleeping. I walk over to my closet, looking for something that matches the weather: Blazing hot. I find a white t-shirt and light blue shorts. I look for something Elli can wear after and get her a red and pink sundress. I shake her awake.

  "What?" She asks, yawning. I smile.

  "Jai and Beau wanna meet up." I laugh when she slides off her bed and goes straight for my bathroom.

  "I'm showering first, I don't care what you say." I smile, and reach for the dress, I toss it to her. "Thanks, love!" I grin and she shuts the bathroom door. I collapse onto my bed and reach for my phone.

  'Elli's showering and then we'll be over :)' I send to Beau and close my eyes. My hair is down and it's days like these I hate bangs so much. I must have drifted off, because Elli shakes me awake. "Oh, sorry." I say, sitting upright. "Ready to go?" I ask, shaking my hair. She nods, and I smile at her, getting off my bed. I grab my phone and shove it in my pocket, walking out into the living room and grabbing my keys.

  "Where are you guys going?" My brother asks from his regular spot on the sofa. I smile at him. "Oh. Beau's, right?" I nod, and walk out the door, Elli is right behind me and all of a sudden she runs ahead of me, taking my spot in the driver's seat.

  "El, what are you doing?" I ask, walking over to the now open window.

  "You need to rest, so I'm going to drive us to the Brooks' place, okay?" I smile at her.

  "You're the best." I say, tossing her my key and getting into the passenger seat. I write the address on a spare peice of paper and taping it to the dash. "Wake me up when we get there, okay?" She nods, and I put my seat back, closing my eyes, and falling asleep.

**Elli's Point Of View**

  We're almost to the address that Lila taped on the dash, and I look over at her. She's snoring lightly and somehow managed to be cold, because she's shivering. I laugh to myself and then realise I passed the boys' driveway. It's almost 11 now, and I swerve a U-turn. Lila turns her head. "What the heck?" She mumbles.

  "Nothing, go back to sleep!" I say, but look over and she's already snoring lightly again. I wonder how late she stayed up? I turn into their driveway this time and see a pretty 2-storey house. Then I see Jai and Beau poke their heads outside and their faces light up. I wave to them, and get out of the car. Jai runs up to me and lifts me off the ground, spinning me in a bear hug, he pulls back and kisses me on the lips. I smile into it, and then he does. This has happen often, because we aren't a very serious couple.

  "Hey wait!" Beau yells. "Where's my Lila?" He asks, with a sad look. Jai sets me down, and I smile sweetly at Beau.

  "She's asleep in the car. Like, completely out of it. I don't think we should bother her." I say, and his look gets even more sad.

  He goes over to the passenger side and opens the door. Jai and I watch him in silence, curious as to what he's going to do next. "Hey you." He whispers and Lila closes her eyes tighter. "I'm just going to lift you up, okay?" She makes a disapproving sound, and Beau laughs. I can tell that half asleep, she's going to play hard to get. Beau picks her up out of the car and holds her wedding style. He slams the door and Lila groans. "Shh. Hush, Lila." He smiles and she wraps her arms around his neck. "Come on, guys." He whispers and Jai takes my hand.

  "What is he doing?" I whisper ask Jai, careful not to wake Lila. He shrugs and we keep walking. We follow Beau inside and he takes Lila downstairs to their basement, which apparently is also their bedroom and puts her on his bed. She rolls over and immediately shoves her head into a pillow. Beau collapses onto the bed beside her and closes his eyes. "What are you doing?" I ask.

  "Having a nap with my girlfriend." He replies, keeping his eyes closed. I look up at Jai and he smiles, pulling me out of their room and upstairs to the sofa.

  "It's so fun to watch the way Beau acts since he met Lila." He says to me and I look at him funny.

  "How is that? He seems pretty normal to me." I laugh.

  "It's just," Jai begins, "Well, he's never acted that way around a girl. It's so funny." I laugh.

  "Well, Lila's never actually gave a guy her heart before, and he's kind of her first actual boyfriend." I laugh. "She's been on dates, but never really gone steady with a guy."

  "Maybe they're meant to be." Jai says and I look up at him.

  "Maybe we are, too." I whisper.

  "We are. There's no maybe about it." He whispers back and kisses me.

  **Lila's Point Of View**

  My eyelids flutter open and I stretch out my legs, thinking that I'm cozy in my bed at home. But then I start to notice my surroundings. I'm in a bedroom, but it's not mine. I sit up straight and look around. I see a bunk bed on the far side of the room, and notice me sitting on a single bed that's up against the wall. Then I see him. Beau. I look down at him and watch his chest rise and fall. He's fast asleep and I begin to wonder what time it is. And where I am. Am I at his house, or were we both kidnapped and put to sleep? I don't remember anything past falling asleep on the way to their house. Oh. We must be at his house. I strtch out and then hear laughter upstairs. It sounds like Luke, Jai and Elli. We must be at his house. I lay back down and shift in the bed. "You awake?" Beau whispers and I jump a little. I roll over and our faces are close. I keep my eyes closed and a straight face, pretending to sleep. "You're so cute when you sleep." He takes one of my hands in both of his and kisses it. It takes everything I have not to smile, and I roll over again. Not as smoothly as planned because I land on the floor.

  "Ow!" I yelp, and Beau pokes his head over the side of his bed, looking down at me. "Hello." I say.

  "Hi beautiful." I smile, and he holds out his hand to help me up, I take it and land on him on the bed, he laughs. "My brother's are going to walk in and take this so bad." I laugh, and roll back onto the floor, I lean my head on the bed and Beau runs his fingers through my hair. I smile. "Still mad at me because of last night?" He whisper asks me and I nod. I was sorta ticked off at him, but it could have been worse. "Come on!" He gufaws. I roll my eyes and he pulls on my hair a little.

  "You hit on another girl imensly, and threw me into a freezing cold ocean." I state and look up at him. His eyes have taken on a new emotion, sort of like 'Please forgive me!' I stare at him for a long time, but we both burst out laughing. "Shut up!" I yell at him, snickering.

  "I didn't say anything!" He yells back. I laugh and lay down on the floor. "Now can I say I love you?" I shake my head. "Too bad! I love you!" He says and I reach upand slaphim playfully. Just then Luke walks into the room.

  "Hey faggot, hey Lila." I laugh and Beau smiles at Luke. They must be used to this. "Mum's coming home soon, and she's bringing food!" He announces and climbs up to the top bunk, his, I assume. He puts headphones in his ears and I hear music in the distance. Beau and I laugh.

  "Want to help me gross Luke out?" I laugh.

  "That's going to be hard." He shakes his head.

  "He doesn't like PDA." I laugh at him.

  "This isn't public!" He shakes his head at me and I climb onto the bed with him. He snakes his hands behind my neck and starts to kiss me intensly. I smile into it and he pushes his lips harder onto mine. Then I feel his tongue on my bottom lip and I realise we've never kissed with tongue. Awkward.

  "Guys! Ew!" Luke yells and I nearly jump off the bed. "Seriously!" He jumps down off his bed, earbud hanging out of his ear, and comes over to sit on the bed with us. "I'm not letting this go on any further. It's a bad habit to get yourself into, Beau. Lila, you'll be okay, cause you're hot."

  "Hey! That's my girlfriend!" Beau yells and hugs me tight. "Get your own!" He kisses my cheek and Luke laughs from the end of the bed.
