**Jai's POV**
That evening, Beau, Lila, James, Skip and Luke all go on a walk to a coffee place a little bit down the road and are going swimming after, so I have the cabin and Elli all to myself. Elli says she wants to go outside for a while and explore so that gives me the time to cook her dinner and set up something special. I plan on cooking her italian, but realise I don't know how. So I gotta learn. Fast. I call the only person I know will be able to help. "Hey mom." I say int the phone.
"Hi, sweetie, is everything okay?" She says in her comforting voice.
"Yeah, but can you help me cook something over the phone?" I ask her, laughing. "I'm trying to cook italian for Elli." I say, getting out the possible stuff I'll need.
"Aw, she's such a sweet girl! And that other girl, too. Beau's girlfriend. How are things going with them?" She asks. I smile at the phone and get out the dishes.
"She forgave him today. She went and hurt herself and Beau went all heart throb doctor on her and bandaged her up." I laugh and then she does.
"Well, I hope she's okay. Oh, and Beau too of course." I laugh at my mom. "So what exactly are you trying to cook?" Mom asks.
"I was hoping you could help me with that part, too." I blush.
*Later*
After I finish cooking the meal for Elli, mom and I get off the phone and I hear the front door close just as I'm putting the finishing touches on the table set up. It has a vase full of hand-picked flowers and dinner looks professional on the plates, no thanks to my mom telling me what to do. "Jai?" Elli calls and I immediately grin. I also changed into a white t-shirt and blue jeans. She walks into the kitchen and her eyes light up. She's wearing a light blue chiffon dress over her bathing suit. I smile as I look at her body. "You made dinner?!" She asks, laughing and walking towards me. She wraps her arms around my neck, hugging me and I smile at her.
"Yup." I grin and kiss her. She lets go and walks around the table, inspecting it. "What are you the romance critic?" I ask, laughing at her. She smiles and nods.
"A+." She says, taking a seat and I take the one across from her. She nibbles on her dinner. I smile at her and start eating myself. After we're finished, we sit and talk about nothing. She just smiles at me for a minute.
"What?" I ask, laughing. "Something on my face?" I ask, wiping at it. She laughs.
"No. You're just so amazing." She blushes.
"As are you. That's why we're perfect together." I reach over and grab her hands. I hear a knock at the door. I roll my eyes. "This better be good!" I say, letting go of Elli's hands and going to get the door. I open it up and see Colten and Tristen. "Hey guys, kinda in the middle of something." I smile.
"We got the boat!" Colten says, holding out the key. My face lights up. We've been talking about the motorboat for months.
"No way, man!" I say and he tosses me the keys. I examine them. "This is awesome!"
"Wanna take it for a spin?" Tristen asks, I look up.
"Hell to the yeah!" I say. "Oh wait..." I run back into the house, leaving the door open. Keys still in hand I poke my head into the kitchen where El is. "Hey, babe?" She looks up, "I'm going out with the guys, okay?" Something flashes across her eyes and she nods. I smile at her, run over and kiss her, then leave. They boys and I are fooling around like old times on the way to the dock. If only Luke were here!
*Lila's POV*
The boys and I are walking back from the coffee shop with our swimming stuff in hand. We're going down the same path that I went down earlier today. Beau is beside me keeping his distance and we're all screwing around. The path keeps reminding me of that Cole dude and I look up at Beau. He looks down and smiles at me. I fake a smile back. "Fake." He says simply. I laugh.
"I love the fact you can tell.|" He takes my hand. We walk close the rest of the way and we're to the spot I hit my toe. "Here's where I cut-" I'm cut off because of arms around my waist, lifting me off the ground. I can't see who it is.
"Woah, what the?!" I hear Beau yells. "Get off my girlfriend!" It clues in who it is.
I'm put down and turn around to see Beau in Cole's face. "Beau!" I walk over to them and hug him. "Bad first impression, Cole." I pause, looking up at Beau who's glaring at Cole. Daniel, James and Luke are right there too. "Guys this is Cole. I met him today after I hit my toe." I say quietly. Beau puts his hands on my hips. His closeness is comforting me.
"You got close quick, didn't you?" Beau asks through clenched teeth. His closeness is all of a sudden cold.
"What? No? We're only friends, Beau!" He's still looking at Cole. "Beau! Look at me!" He won't.
"Maybe I should go..." Cole says, backing away.
"Maybe you should stay!" Beau says, and pushes me away from him. I'm shocked he would do that and Daniel and Luke are there comforting me as James tries to hold Beau back from Cole. I can only watch. Cole starts running in the other direction and I push past Daniel and Luke heading for the cabin. "Lila!" Beau calls and I start running. He's faster than me and catches up easily. I look back and the others are coming slower. "Who was that guy?!" He yells at me.
"Beau, please don't yell..." I say quietly. He pulls me in his arms. "I told you, I met him earlier today when I stubbed my toe. He's just a friend. Get over it. I love YOU!" I say, reassuring him.
"He touched you. I didn't like it." He says and buries his face in my hair. "I love you, too."
"Beau! That's called jealousy and it's normal!!" I yell, pushing him away from me. "Why can't you see that I don't want any more drama and I only want it to be us! I want us to be the couple that everyone else wants. Can we? Just please? We've been through a lot in this time. You cheated on me! I think we can get through this. We could be everything!" I whisper the last sentence.
Beau smiles. Really? "I want to be that." He whispers. I smile. "It would be nice. All the other girls have just been one night stands."
I decide this is the perfect time to bring up his virginity. "What? You're not a virgin?" I wink and walk into him in a hug.
"Would you be disgusted if I said no?" He asks.
"You're a Janoskian. I'm not sure."
"Well, I'm not." He says and I look up at him.
"Seriously?" I ask.
"Just making that clear." He laughs. "But I can tell you are." He says leaning down and kissing me.
"What's that supose to mean?!" I ask.
"That I love you and want to go swimming." He says and takes my hand. The others finally catch up and we make our way to the lake. Finally, we're on the dock.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I hear some guy yell from a motorboat coming to the dock where we are standing. As it approaches I see Jai. Where's El? Jai jumps off the boat and onto the dock. "Guys, that was awesome." Jai looks up and sees us. He's still in his clothes.
"Jai? Where's El? I thought you were having dinner?" I ask. Jai nods.
"We were, but then Colten and Tristen showed up wiht the boat and invited me for a spin, so she let me leave." I slap myself in the face.
"You studpid! Never ever ditch a girl!" I yell at him and then go for the cabin I go inside. "El?" I call and close the door.
"Up here." She says from upstairs. I go up into her and Jai's room.
"Jai is such an insensitive jerk! How are you doing?" I ask, sitting on the bed beside her. She bursts out in tears. "Woah, woah!" I wrap my arms around her and she cries in my arms.
"H-h-he just ditched me." She cries and I stroke her hair. "And he didn't come back." She sobs.
"It's okay, I'm sure you guys will forgive eachother." I say, thinking about Beau. I tell her what happened earlier that day and she's hugging me while I cry. "You have no idea! I didn't know he was the jealous type." I cry into her arms and she cries into mine. The door to their room swings open and standing there is Jai and Beau. We dry our tears.
"Lila..." Beau says and I get a feeling I don't like. "We need to talk."
