"Eros!?" Percy exclaimed.

Artemis turned and glared, then realized it was the Primordial God Eros, and quickly sank in to a restrained bow. "Please, forget the formalities. I'm here because Perseus is trying to collet all the sins. What he hasn't said, but has felt, is that he has three of the sins, not two. He is Wrath."

Percy looked at Eros. "What?"

"Okay, Perseus. How about this? How do you suppose you have stayed alive so well? How do you explain your godlike prowess with a sword?"

"Luck?"

Eros rolled his eyes. "No. Your first quest, fighting Echidna, yes, you would have survived falling out of the Arch no issue because water is your domain. But the poison should have killed you sooner. Same with the Pit scorpion. The poison should have killed you, but it didn't. The manticore? It's poison should have incapacitated you from the number of times you were hit. The Labyrinth? Even a demi-primordial child of Pontus, Thalassa, or Hyrdos would have found it hard to survive that much lava and an explosion of that magnitude. And healing your wounds as fast as they were from that? Calypso is good, but not that good.

"Then there's the issue with Kronos. He nicked you before you had the Styx's Curse correct? That would have been immediate death for any other demigod, their soul reaped. His scythe was made by a primordial to kill another primordial. There are four others Gaia made for her other four children of the compass. These would have destroyed your very essence. Death should have been a certainty for you. Also, primordial weapons would normally cut through the power of the Styx, since they are older and stronger than her, yet it didn't.

"Alaska, you are immune to drowning, but not freezing. You should have died there as well, body frozen after you hit that water. Your fight with your father's bane as your sister watched. You should have died there as well. Some how, you managed to survive all that. Why? Because you are not just a demigod.

"Of all the Sins, only one was able to be caught and confined. Wrath. He was predictable. Always wanting to fight. We used old magic and forced him to appear inside of mortals, never free to have his own body again. Eventually his conscience waned and it was just his power and abilities that were left."

Artemis and Percy were dumbfounded. Neither of them expected a revelation like this. "What? You're saying that I am Wrath?"

"In a way, yes. You contain Wrath's powers. But you yourself are not Wrath. He fought anything and everything. You are not like that."

"So what does this mean?" Artemis asked.

"Well, it explains his entire life. Also, it's why I approached him as I did. Without what he is, he never would stand a chance against who he is going to face. Not unless he were to be ascend to Primordial status, which he couldn't do. Not without far more risk than he's ever dealt with up to this point...combined."

Percy glared at Eros. "Explain more about this Man in the Moon guy. I know there's more to it than you're telling me."

Eros nodded. "Yes. A lot more. He is a primordial in a way." Eros held up his hand, stopping the couple from asking questions. "He is sort of the Primordial of the Moon. He was once a part of Gaia. After the moon was formed his conscience started to form and eventually he became his own being. He is the one that killed Selene, and Helios for attempting to protect his sister. He is powerful, but a lot weaker than any real primordial.

"He hated Selene, and in turn Artemis, because they draw from his power. All power is held by the primordials. That's just how it works. The Titans, and now the gods, draw their power from the Primordial's domains. Since a Primordial is the embodiment of that domain, it means that they would lose power. φεγγάρι is his name, or Fengári. He is literally called Moon. He is the weakest and therefore hates being made weaker.

"He is afraid one day Gaia will try to reabsorb him and he will cease to exist. While this may seem over the top to you, most primordials have that fear, though we don't go around killing those that use our domains. We realize that we will always be necessary as long as there are gods to draw from our domains."
