"This is crazy. I don't need this kind of fanfare. I'm no one important."
"My Lord, you hold the power of our former Lord and Master. Which means you are the successor of his estate. We couldn't dare imagine not treating you with the correct respect."
Percy sighed. It mattered not. He could feel this place. The power it held seemed to be seeping into him, like he was absorbing the magic right out of the air. 'Yes, that was my latent ability. While most Demon Lords need to wait for their bodies to make the magic, I absorb it from the very air around me. That is why I was so easily defeated by Wrath when I arrived on Earth. There was no magic in the air.'
Percy still didn't like this, but he figured if it made the people here happy, then by all means. "So, while I'm here, I need to train. I'll help you with this problem of yours, but I need to get stronger and your former master seems go have guided me to this place."
"Oh of course. But you must be tired. Let's get you inside first and tomorrow we shall see what we can do about both of our situations." Percy nodded gratefully.
After dinner and in the master bedroom, Percy lay down to sleep. He was suddenly overcome by exhaustion brought on by changing realms.

Dream Realm (Past)
"Who you are looking for will not be found here. She is far beyond your reach, and not the one you are meant to be with. I am sorry young demigod."
"I'm not young, the other realms where the gods from other pantheons stay have...a different flow of time. I'm far older than I appear. And how do you know that? Who are you?"
"I am Selene, the Titaness of the Moon before the goddess you know as Artemis was places in charge of it. And you are young to me as I came millennia before you. As to how I know who she is, is because I have watched you for some time, knowing of your destiny. You are powerful beyond what you know. And I require a favor, or rather, ask you to take on a task of great importance to the balance of the known universe."
"Ugh, it's always me saving the world. What is it this time?"
"Artemis is in grave danger, as well as Apollo for he is much like Helios was to me. Highly protective of his sister, he will attempt to stop it himself. I fear what happened to my brother and I will again happen to Artemis and Apollo."
"How do you know? And what happened?"
"It is a deity from early on in time, is the best way to describe it. He was once a part of Gaia, but when the moon was formed, he eventually became a deity of his own. The problem is, he is far weaker than any of the other primordials and he greatly resents it, as he fears Gaia will one day try to reabsorb him. All the Primordials hold the true power. Titans and Gods only draw from their power. Most don't mind as they are either sleeping or know that even with the power being drained from them, the others are of no consequence to their true power. Your defeat of Gaia was because she was just awoken. Had she had time to regain full awareness and strength, the gods would be less than flies before her.
"But this deity is angry that I drew my power from him, and when he woke he came after myself. Helios tried to stop him, but he failed and we both perished. I fear he is reawakening after so long and will come after my successor."
"Great, another angry Primordial hell bent on messing up the world. Of course it is. Why would I expect any less? First I fought Gods, then Titans, so why not a few Primordials too?"
"You are far too angry. You should realize that you are setting a course for a far brighter future. One where there will be less conflict for the future generations. You are changing the world without realizing it, Perseus. You don't give yourself enough credit. I ask this of you because I know only you can do this. There isn't another demigod capable of this. I beseech thee."
"Fine, fine! I'll do it. Only because I respect Lady Artemis. As a male, she would normally hate my guts, but because of my connection to Thalia as well as all that I've done for the gods, she actually respects me. I just wish I could get a break from all this fighting."
"How odd. You have been searching out fights since the loss of your mentor and lover, and yet you claim to want nothing to do with them. How is that so?"
"I don't even know..."
