Do u know the most primitive emotion every human suffers through? It's fear.
Fear isn't something that great cause it's common for mostly everyone. Everyone fears something or the other. But what everyone fears is God.
Who is this God to you? Why do we need God? Does he really exist?! Where is he?
First of all, who is God? Just ask yourself, where did you first heard of this term. Probably at early age from your parents?
Honestly, I never believed in magic or spiritual powers and all. For me no one is God. My life is just amazing and beautiful Creation of Nature. Who made nature? Well, that's Earth. Who made Earth? Earth was a part of sun a few billion years ago. Who made sun? Well, we will have to be more scientific then.
Let me tell you an interesting property of Black Holes. At the Event Horizon, that is at the boundry of a black hole; time goes on becoming slow as you approach it. So slow that one second can be more than a day. Now, at the singularity (Region of infinite density and hence infinite gravity) , time is frozen. No time passes at the region of singularity.
We can relate this information to The Big Bang. The theory says that, the entire universe was a black hole once, with all it's mass compressed at that certain region. This implies that, time itself did not exist before The Big Bang.
So any event that happened before that is useless information.
Means God never had time to create the universe because no time existed before The Big Bang.
We were talking about how our sun was born. So ,after The Big Bang, there was only gas in the universe. At regions with higher densities, gravity dominated. Thus forming Stars and Galaxies.
That's our universe's history.
Where is God in it? Just imagine, what all barriers of Science and Reasoning we would have to break to explain how this supernatural being exists. It's impossible.
That's scientific. But Psychologically, our mind tends to Thank for everything. It's just human nature to do so.
That's why,we need a God. God,a person to thank for giving us this life.
This power of belief helps us to be good. Act good. So that we do not disappoint the 'Almighty' because he determines whether your soul goes to hell or heaven, afterlife or the void(A place where your soul is lost forever).
That is determined by our Karmas. And the judgement is taken by 'God'.
Here, aint we kind of selfish?
I mean, think about it, do people actually thank God for this life or just for the sake that your soul isn't sent to hell or void?
This is fear. The fear that makes a human to perform good actions (Karma).
Fear is nothing but a very unpleasant feeling that you encounter from any Threat or Pain.
Therefore, people shall know pain. When you have the fear, you try to keep yourself out of this pain.
For different people, pain is different. Accordingly they live their life and work harder.
For this they pray to God for confidence. As you get confidence, you automatically become better. For this, you think it is the work of God.
But in Psychology, when you are confident, you tend to focus more. Hence you become better. That's the truth.
God and fear go hand in hand for this very reason. You fear god,so you tend to work for good.
Without the belief of God, the world would have been a chaos.
However, whats off about us is that we tend to overdo.
We believe Soo much and Soo strongly that, we go as far as building Temples, Statues and worship a stone figure. I've seen people going mad behind god, trading offers with him like I'll walk these many stairs of your pilgrimage if you pass me in my test.
The worst is people hitting themselves. For me, those are ridiculous. It's just a honest opinion. I cannot go against it because everyone would come to kill me then.
I don't know what is the point of going to such heights. I mean, just use God to gain your confidence and move on.
For this reason people say, "Be confident in life, God is there to help you."
You got a life , live it. You got problems? Figure out something, never give up. If you cherish or are cherished by someone or something then atleast live for them. Live for others atleast but do not give up. You will always find hope if you search in right places.
What I believe is someone is out there watching out everyone. But this belief is just to satisfy myself.
Everyone should experience pain and fear, so as to work hard and become better.
Although the theory of Afterlife and hell/void is very improbable to be true, people will still believe in it blindly AND strongly. They have the fear of this and this helps them to be good.
But of course everyone isn't good just for that reason.
If a person looks happy doesn't mean he has no problems.
If a person avoids you, it doesn't mean you don't mean anything to them.
If a person does not believe in God, it doesn't mean he isn't a good person.
Do not judge people.
That's the work of 'God'.
Life is simple. Just live it freely. Avoid complexities. And most importantly believe in yourself.
