Edited (a lot)...

Sun trickled in through the curtains and I fought to keep my eyes closed. I was enveloped in warmth and I didn't want it to end. Hot breaths tickled against my neck and strong arms were wrapped tightly around my waist, drawing me ever closer into Victor's chest.

Waking up would ruin this moment. I would have to go leave the comfort of Victor's warm embrace and come up with some sort of reasonable excuse to tell Phichit as to why I had stayed the night.

The scent of vanilla tangled itself in my nose and I took a long deep breath, revelling in the feeling of Victor so close. I shifted a little, moving my hands to cup his on my waist only to smile when I heard a small, sleepy hum of approval.

"Morning," he mumbled, placing his lips on my shoulder and giving me soft kisses until he reached the nape of my neck.

"Don't say that," I whispered, scrunching my eyes further closed.

"Why not?" He asked, the tone of his voice soft yet husky and slightly muffled as he spoke into my skin.

I giggled a little at the feeling and shook my head at the thoughts running through my head. The answer to that question would seem stupid and even the idea of telling him sent a rush of heat to my cheeks.

The arms around my torso tightened further and he wrapped every inch of his being around me, tangling his legs with mine pulling my still naked body flush against his. I think I would have been more embarrassed had it not been Victor; had it not felt as if I were floating above the rest of the world on cloud nine; had I not been so infatuated with everything he did, to me and otherwise.

"Yuri?" His smooth as silk voice sung.

I nodded, eyes still closed and fiddling with his fingers.

"Last night, was it good for you?"

My hands stopped fiddling and slowly I fluttered my eyes open adjusting to the light in the room. On my neck, I felt a long stream of hot air as Victor took a shaky breath from behind me. Abruptly I intertwined my fingers with his before turning in his hold so that I was facing him.

"Last night," I whispered softly, right into his ear, "was perfect. Don't for even a second think that I didn't enjoy it."

"You know that I love you right?"

I grinned, humming yes into his neck. I couldn't see his face but I could tell he was grinning as well. Because I knew deep down that I did love him. The awkward meetings we would have in the hallways were distant memories and although it felt like everything was racing past too quickly, I wasn't scared anymore.

"How did I get so lucky as to meet you?" I joked, chuckling as I drew back from him just enough to place a chaste kiss on his cheek.

He released my hands and settled them on my hips. Slowly his fingers ran up my body, before cupping my cheeks.

"You were stupid and went to a club you were underaged for," He said, "then you drank drinks that a stranger gave you, got so drunk you weren't thinking straight and wound up in my bed."

He pecked my lips.

"You were lucky because I didn't turn out to be some kind of serial killer."

Chuckling, I wrapped my arms around his neck.

It was Monday morning and I was sat in my usual seat at the back of the classroom with Pichit next to me and the recent addition of Jake in front of me. At the front of the class, Victor was busy talking about different tenses and what we should try and include in our essay which he was setting for homework.

As Victor finally finished his speech he swiftly moved to behind his desk. He eyes wandered over the piles of papers until he finally found what he was looking for. Abruptly he picked up a hefty looking stack before lifting his eyes to scan over the room.

"I need someone to help hand out the homework tasks," He said and instantly several disheartened murmurs washed over the room, "Any volunteers?" He hummed questioningly, but no one raised their hands. The entire class just slouched in their seats trying their best to avoid eye contact so as not to be chosen.

Suddenly Victor's eyes landed on me and he raised his eyebrows expectantly. I sighed and very reluctantly, I raised my hand. There was a reason why no one volunteered to do things like this. In school, becoming the teacher's pet was the surest way to gain yourself all the wrong kinds of attention from all the people you least wanted it from.

"Merci, Yuri," Victor smiled happily as I begrudgingly pushed myself out of my seat and shuffled up to the front of the room. I glared at Victor the whole time. He smiled wider.

When I reached the front of the class I could feel all eyes on me. Victor, not paying any attention to them, quickly handed me half the pile of sheets before casually placing his hand on my shoulder as he passed me to hand out his half of the documents. It was warm, even through my shirt and I smiled to myself as it lingered for just a little longer than it should have.

We both hurried around the room passing out the papers and before I knew it the bell rung. Immediately the room was sent into a frenzy as all the students stood up. I side glanced at Victor who had just handed out his last sheet before rushing back to my own desk to get my things.

By the time I had all my pens back in my bag the classroom was almost empty. Most of the wooden desks left abandoned and in a state of disarray. Phichit, I could see, was still there, standing by the door waiting for me and Jake, Jake was still in the room, confidently sauntering down the aisle until he landed right in front of Victor's desk. He coughed, notifying Victor of his presence.

I pulled my bag over my shoulders and began to make my way across the room to Phichit but continued to watch as Victor's icy eyes flicked up to meet some golden and sweet.

"Can I talk to you about something?" Jake asked in a slightly lowered tone, almost as if he didn't want me to hear. The gears were already spinning in my head trying to calculate what he could be wanting to talk with Victor about. But it could have been anything.

Victor hummed in response and stopped fiddling with his papers, lending Jake his full attention.

Suddenly I felt a tug on my arm and snapped my neck to see Phichit attempting to drag me out of the room.

"God Yuri, stop dawdling," He teased as he pulled me outside. I tried to catch one last glimpse of Victor but as I looked over my shoulder, to my dismay Jake was there, closing the door behind me as I left. "So what lesson do we have next?" Phichit mumbled.

I quickly turned my attention back to him, trying to forget about Jake as we began to walk down the corridor. "History," I said and Phichit hummed in recognition.

A.N. I'm sorry that I had to do this but I just wasn't really happy with how I'd left it and was finding it really hard to get the motivation to write. I think I'm over it now and I'll try to get another chapter out later today.
Thanks for sticking with me x
