*Luke's POV*

"That's all you need?" Ashton asked as I pushed my guitar case in the backseat of my car.

He was sitting in the passenger seat waiting for me. We were on our way to the bar I was scheduled to perform at. 

"That's all I need." I smiled taking my place in the drivers seat.

To say I was nervous would be an understatement. Especially since Ashton was gonna be there. What if I messed up and he laughed at me? Ashton wouldn't do that.

I hope.

I shouldn't mess up though, I've played this set countless times. 

"I'm excited to see you perform." Ashton smiled. 

I smiled back and started the engine. 

"Are you nervous?" He asked with a small smirk playing at his lips.

"Honestly, yes a little." I chuckled lightly.

"Ah, don't be. You'll do great. I know you will." He said with a dimpled grin.

"I hope so." I whispered turning on the radio. 

A song by Mcfly started playing and Ashton began drumming along on his lap. 

It wasn't like random drumming people do when they listen to music, he was actually keeping up with the beat like he knew what he was doing. 

"Ashton, can you play the drums?" I asked, letting curiosity get to me.

He blushed but nodded. 

"Yeah, a little. I played in the church band for a few years but mum made me quit."

"Why?" I asked.

"She hated me practicing at home." He shrugged, "Gave her headaches, or so she says."
