epilogue

Ashton's POV

We were back at the old elementary school. We were sitting on the hood of Luke's car holding hands and just enjoying each others company.

"It's crazy y'know?" I said.

"What?" Luke asked, leaning over and nuzzling his head against my neck.

"It was only a few weeks ago that I hated your guts and looked at you as a disgusting man whore with a bad attitude."

"I was a disgusting man whore with a bad attitude a few weeks ago." He said shrugging. "But the minute you actually hung around me I knew that wasn't who I wanted to be anymore. I thought having sex and being a prick made me happy, but if anything it made me more miserable than I actually was. I'm glad you gave me a chance."

"I never really gave you a chance." I chuckled. "You pinned me to a wall, pestered me into going to a scary drug party, got high at the scary drug party and made me drag you home, had Michael basically kidnap me, and pinned me to a wall again but this time in the janitors closet. I wouldn't take any of it back though, I was miserable before I gave you a chance."

He smiled and pressed a kiss to my cheek.

We were quiet for a few minutes, just enjoying the silence that surrounded the abandoned school. That silence was soon broken by the crinkling of paper.

I looked over and saw Luke popping a piece of gum in his mouth.

"I want a piece." I said.

"No." He smirked.

I know what he's doing.

"Fine then." I said grabbing the back of his neck and pulling his mouth to mine.

His lips immediately responded and he hummed when I sucked on his bottom lip. My tongue grazed the hoop of his lip ring and he let me slip it in his mouth. We continued to kiss until I caught him off guard by flicking the fruity gum from his mouth into mine.

"You stole my gum." He said once we pulled away.

"You should have just given me a piece." I smirked.
