Both of them soon got engrossed in theirs respective works giving them no time to argue or banter over the previous conversation.It looked as if they were planning to chop each other's heads off while heading towards the parking lot.Khanna couldn't help but let out a small girlish giggle looking at them,which in turn resulted in Shivaay shooting daggers at him."Stop looking at Khanna ji like that,kamse kam unhe jo samajna chaahiye,voh toh samajhte hai voh!Unlike some people here",Annika spoke looking everywhere but him,which frustrated Shivaay to no end.Shivaay let out a huge sigh before pressing his fingertips hard against his hairline,thumb against temples."Not now Annika,I'm exhausted",said Shivaay in an irritated tone.He was indeed irritated,his day started with a bad note,courtesy-the news portal,and now Annika was being difficult.Making it extremely
difficult for him to not lose his sanity,which,by the way was hanging by a thread.
Annika sensed the tension in the air and decided to keep it down.The last thing she needed right now is Shivaay to get mad on her.For some unknown reason,she felt like she was somehow responsible for this sulky mood of Shivaay and hence decided to cheer up her man.After all,that's what relationships are all about,right?
"Shivaay,mausam kitna accha hai na?I feel like going on a long drive,just you and me!But I wouldn't mind if OmRu would tag along as well,it would be fun!What do you think?",asked Annika in her usual chirpy tone,to which Shivaay let out a small smile.
"Not working.You need to try hard,babe.",chuckled Shivaay.
Annika looped her arm around his as soon as they reached the basement,resting her head on his shoulder in an adorable manner.Khanna smiled fondly looking at his boss and his lady,it warmed his heart to see his boss like this.He left the basement leaving the love birds on their own,that very moment,his pager went off with a code which indicated security emergency.He rushed towards Shivaay and Annika in no time.Khanna looked alarmed,stress was clearly visible on his face and that worried Shivaay to no end.
"Kya hua Khanna?Is everything alright?",asked Shivaay.
"Sir,there's a problem!",Khanna answered in a tone which matched his current look.
