Fairytale with a twist

Once Upon A Time, in a land far, far away from Neverland and the lost boys, there existed this tribe called Jokes. They lived on the land of Nirvana, an island where there were no mistakes and where rays of hope beamed out like sun rays on openings of a cloudy sky. These hopes and blooming energy fed the dreams of the little boys and girls and the hearts of the do-good-ers in the world. The jokers weren't allowed to leave the island or be with anyone who was impure or had any negativity.

In that island, among the Jokes, lived a young girl named Jubilee. She was filled with too many what-if's and curiosity and it took all her willpower to control the urge to leave Nirvana. The Jokes communicated with Neverland because they helped one another; The Jokes supplied the positivity that is used to convince the boys to come to Neverland and in return the shadows helped the Jokes carry the hope into the other parts of the world. Jubilee helped on carrying the hope to the shadows and on one of her visits she met an intriguing lost boy named Jasper. If the lost boys were known to be mean and rude, he wasn't like any other; He sang soft tuned melodies, studied knighthood to become the best a gentleman he could possibly be plus, he had a robust appearance. Jubilee couldn't help but fall in love even though it was forbidden.

Everyday they'd try and talk to each other one way or another. Not a day went by when one didn't know how the other was doing. Although Jubilee loved him, she didn't know if he felt the same way about her. She wanted to find out so she got the courage and set up a time and place where they could meet to talk as usual. The meeting place was deep within the woods in Neverland. Jubilee asked Tinkerbell to help her find the way. They both jumped with flattery and excitement when Jubilee told Tinkerbell of her stories with Jasper.

"He's the one. I'm sure he likes you too!" Tinkerbell said.

Jubilee thanked Tinkerbell and said her goodbyes in advance so Jubilee could walk alone the rest of the way, towards the meeting place. When she got to the meeting place, Jasper was there waiting. 

"Jubilee! Hi! Over here, come!" he shouted.

Jubilee greeted him with a tight hug but didn't notice another girl who was standing behind Jasper.

"Who is she?" Jubilee asked in a friendly voice.

He answered, "I'd like you to meet Ten. I asked her to hang out with us if... thats ok with you?"

Everything paused.

"But, what about all those moments we had together. I thought we were enough, just me and you. Was I not all you needed, or was I not enough for what you wanted. Please tell me she's nothing compared to me and that there will never be anyone worthier or better than me to fill my shoes. You have the power to hurt me...Don't. I would never do this to you." All these thoughts clouded her mind but she shook them off.

"Yes, absolutely. It's ok," she answered, even though she felt something heavy sink inside her. Her heart felt as if it was beaten to the ground. Even then she still loved him. She contained the tears that were screaming to come out, gulped, then smiled,

"Nice to meet you."
