Poem -A short poem about a fruit of my childhood days that brings back memories.

Pick me up on a sunny day.
Eat me up if you may.
Though I don't taste good unripe,
I do appease you when I'm right.

The sun favors my skin.
I am yellowish within.
I feed all kin.
Peel me on a spin.

I am a sweet melody to your tongue.
I'm used for many things, even rum.
In our home, my brothers and I clung,
until we drop to bring you fun.
