Angela

"Angela." Jackson's concerned tone stopped me

"I'm fine." I whispered, I was so close to tears another word might release them. My whole body hurt.

"Angel." He said again, that was it. I turned around and started bawling. The two of them rushed forward but I pushed them away. I started walking down the street towards camp.

The whole way back Melisa and Jackson kept a good distance from me. I could hear them talking in hushed tones but the tears dripping down my face kept me pre-occupied. I tried not to think about what the 3 men did to me, but I couldn't. All I wanted to do was to have Jackson comfort me and tell me everything was ok, but at the same time I didn't want anyone near me.

When we made it back to the camp I raced to the cabin and immediately got in the shower. Nearly my whole body was covered in purple bruises. I was sore all over.

When I finished I opened the door and Jackson fell at my feet hitting his head on the tile. He must've been leaning against the door waiting for me.

"W-what? Oh . . . hey." He smiled up at me. I simply waved down at him and continued to our room. He followed closely behind. I tried to shut the door on him, but he caught it easily, "Angela, baby, please tell me what happened."

"I was in the library . . . some guy . . . followed me . . . I tripped him . . . he had friends . . . they took me away . . . they . . . they . . ." I broke down sobbing again, "I'm sorry . . . I can't t-talk about it . . ." He wrapped his arms around me and I soaked his shirt with my tear

"Is this where all the bruises came from?"

"Y-yeah. T-they tied m-me up." I whispered between sobs. His grip around my waist tightened and he tried his best to comfort me

"Are you ok?" He asked

"I hurt everywhere. I-I tried to stop them but . . . but they were too strong."

Jackson gently kissed me on the forehead. I tilted my head up and captured his lips in mine.

"I promise to keep you safe Angel. I love you." He breathed, I pulled him onto the bed and snuggled into his chest. I closed my eyes but the events of earlier kept playing in my mind.

I woke up in a cold sweat. God that dream was HORRIBLE! Jackson was snoring beside me as the sun light streamed through the window. I decided to take a shower, again.

When I got out Jackson was just pulling on his shirt.

"We're going to be late for breakfast. Are you coming?" He asked

"Yeah, just let me grab my phone . . ." I realized I hadn't gotten it back from the crazy men! They have my address, number, personal information, everything! "Oh no, they have it!"

"Don't worry, we can get Teddy to hack into it and shut it down manually. We can get it downloaded onto one of your spares." He said reading my mind

On our way down to breakfast we ran into Jacob and Melisa. While the guys talked sports Melisa pulled me aside.

"What happened to you last night? Why are you covered in bruises?" She asked

"This guy was following me around the book store, so I texted you. I walk around a bit trying to lose him and I did for a moment until he grabbed me at the bus stop. I took him down but as I was running away two of his friends caught me by surprise." I was glad I didn't have to finish

"Oh my god! Have you told Jackson?"

We rejoined the boys and had a long breakfast. Jackson had lacrosse practice and sadly no one was invited to watch. He made me promise, before he left, that I would tell Mr. Hart, the camp director, what happened. He left with Jacob leaving Melisa and I alone. We decided we should first go to Teddy to have him shut down my phone and retrieve the data.

"Why exactly do you need the data off your other phone and it to be shut down?" He asked

"Someone stole my phone and I don't want them having access to my personal information."

"Fair enough."

I managed to get my new phone set up in 10 minutes thanks to Teddy. But now I've got to face the hardest part of my day. Melisa dragged me to the main building and I put in a request to speak with Mr. Hart. Just my luck, he happened to be free. Melisa thought it would be best if I went in alone.
