Jackson
Practice was long and hot. When Jacob and I finally dragged ourselves our sore butts to the dining hall I was almost too tired to get food. Almost.
I was just finishing my 5th piece of pizza when Angela slumped down beside me. She started picking at her salad, not eating any of it.
"Don't you have swim practice today?" I asked trying to cheer her up
"No, it's tomorrow." She sighed
"Then why don't we go swimming in the lake. I don't have to be at the fields until after dinner tonight. We could get Charlie and Teddy to join us."
"Ahem!" Melisa coughed
"And Melisa and Jacob." I added. She nodded

After lunch I pulled Angela along to our cabin to talk to her.
"Angela," I grabbed her shoulder and she looked up at me with a terrified look in her eyes, "Whatever is bothering you, you can tell me."
"I know, I'm just still caught up on last night." She said
"We'll get them lock away.
The rest of the afternoon was fun. We all went down to the lake and splashed around. Charlie got Angela attacked Melisa and Jacob with a GIGANTIC wave and dumped all of them in the lake a few times. Teddy was trying to not be a target, but when you're hiding behind a tree, you are asking to be thrown in. It took Charlie, Jacob, and me to get him into the lake. Finally, we threw him in and the next moment the girls pushed us in after him. It was AMAZING!
Practice that evening was hell. It was muggy, and I was already tired from messing around at the lake. Coach made us run extra laps and when it finally ended at 9 I just sprawled out on the ground with Jacob until Melisa and Angela came looking for us. The two of them had been at the pool and somehow Angela's wet hair just made her look even cuter. She lied down next to me and we talked about the stars and constellations.
