Angela

I could tell something was going on between Teddy and Charlie. Teddy didn't leave his room once and Charlie took on extra shifts at the infirmary. This went on for a week.

I went in to get an ice pack for Jackson's bruised knee and found Charlie, alone, passed out at the front desk. I grabbed an ice pack. I met back up with him at the fields.

"Ok, this thing between Charlie and Teddy has to end. Charlie hasn't gone back to the dorm in a week and Teddy refuses to leave. This can't go on!" I argued as I pushed the ice pack onto Jackson's knee.

"I know, I know. My knee doesn't have to die because of it." His voice was strained with pain.

"Sorry." I handed him the ice pack and he gingerly placed it on. "We need to do something! Charlie is passed out behind the counter and neither Melisa or Maria can get Teddy to leave."

"We could do what they do in those movies you like. Trick the two of them to meet up somewhere and get them to apologize. And we should probably wake up Charlie."

"Jackson that's a fantastic idea. I'll get the others meet me in the library in two minutes." I was about to run off when he grabbed my arm

"I know you care about your friends but your wonderful boyfriend here messed up his knee and he would be very grateful if you could help him get to the infirmary."

<*>

An hour later, Jackson was on crutches and everyone, except for Teddy and Charlie, was gathered in the library. We went over the plan again.

Maria would text Teddy saying she fell in the library and can't get any of us to help her. I would text Charlie saying Jackson fell and broke his arm in the library. When they arrived we would take them out back and get them to make up.

<*>

"Angela, falling!" Jackson yelped. He was even worse than Maria was. I caught him and we continued watching the door. When Charlie arrived, I would meet him and Jackson would follow behind us. Maria and Jacob were at the other entrance waiting for Teddy.

"Charlie, wonderful you're here. Change in plans, Jackson's fine but Melisa . . ." I let my voice trail off

"Is she ok? Asthma attack?" He asked

"Um . . . yes asthma, she lost her inhaler. She's around back come on."

We raced around back, only slowing down to keep Jackson upright. When we arrived Teddy was already there.

"Alright you two, we know something is going on. You can't avoid each other for the rest of your life. You're best friends, you both like each other. So put you egos aside and make up." Melisa said

"Look Charlie . . ." Teddy started

"Have you really been locked in the room for a week? Have you been eating NOTHING?" Charlie yelled

"Well I . . ."

"No, Teddy you can't live without food. How many time must I repeat myself? I'll spell it out for you. FOOD EQUALS ENERGY, ENERGY EQUALS LIFE! No food no life. Now eat this cookie."

"I don't need a cookie!"

The two of them went back and forth until Melisa finally took the cookie and shoved it in Teddy's mouth.

"Imf swroy, mfh nfg tmfgh mfhgn." Teddy tried with a mouth full of cookie

"Chew then talk." Charlie retorted
