Dalia stepped out and Angelica gasped while I was speechless. She was in a blood red ball gown with black sequins on the bodice. It wasn't as poofy as most ball gowns, but it had enough for it not to look flat against her body. The bodice hugged her curves in all the right places, she looked dangerous and seductive. Angelica smirked, "This is the best work I've ever done." I was just staring at her, Dalia turned and smirked at me, "Calla, close your mouth you're drooling and it's unattractive." I growled at her and her smirk just got wider. I rolled my eyes, "Go try on the others." She looked at herself once more then walked back inside.
Angelica looked over at me, "What do you think Jackii?" I smiled at her, "Riley looked gorgeous. Since her element is fire I see what you did there." She winked at me, "Hell yeah I did." I was laughing when Dalia walked out in the second dress, I had taken a sip of my champagne and as I looked up I gasped and swallowed the drink. I coughed and looked up at her amazed. She had on a white ball gown similar to the blood red one, but this one had black sequins on the bodice and it made her hazel eyes pop. Dalia turned and laughed, "I feel like a big wedding cake." Angelica's brow furrowed, "A cute wedding cake." Dalia smiled at her, "yes a cute wedding cake." I laughed, "go try on the last one." She rolled her eyes and waddled back to the dresser. I looked at Angelica, "white?" She looked at me sideways, "you haven't seen her pissed off fire have you?" I bit into a strawberry, "no. I haven't." Angelica smiled evilly, "Her fire gets white hot." I raised my eyebrows and heard Dalia shriek.
My head snapped to her direction and she was standing in front of the mirror. She turned and she had the biggest smile, "THIS IS THE ONE!" The dress was a fishtail on the sides, short in the front and the back, but long on the sides. It was a charcoal grey, with red and white fabric under. The charcoal grey part had rips and tears everywhere. The bodice was the same charcoal grey and it had red jewels. I snirked, "combat boots?" She nodded, "combat boots!!" I laughed, "looks like she found the one." Dalia smiled, " hell yeah I did!!"
Dalia came out in her normal clothes, clutching the dress bag. She plopped down next to me, "Time for the queen to make her impression." I stood up gracefully and I walked into the dresser.
Angelica threw a couple of dress bags in my dresser, "lets see if these fit you." I smiled to myself, "whatever." I could hear Dalia laughing. I rolled my eyes and unzipped the first bag. The first dress was a dark blue color. I looked in the small mirror that was in there and the dress was the exact same blue as my eyes. I smiled and slipped it on. I walked out and I saw Dalia's jaw drop.
I smiled and breathed in. I closed my eyes and turned towards the mirror, I counted to 3 and I opened my eyes. The bodice was full of black gems. The gems were scattered evenly among the skirt and I smiled. I could see myself getting crowned queen in this dress. Dalia circled me like a vulture inspecting her prey and she leaned back, "I can actually see the love dripping from your eyes, but it's not the dress." I whirled on her, "how do you know?" She smirked, "I know you. You want sexy, and you want all the girls to know that you're the 'baddest bitch' or in this case 'alpha bitch queen.'" I narrowed my eyes, "bitch."
I went back to the dresser and slipped off the dress. I unzipped the other bag that held the second dress and I slipped it on without glancing down at it. I walked with my head high and I turned to look at the mirror. The dress was white. It had dark blue gems on the bodice and it was long but not too poofy. I turned on my heel and went back into the dresser. Dalia burst into laughter, "she loved it, but she saw something." Angelica whimpered slightly, "I thought she loved white." I could hear a smile in Dalia's voice, "she felt like she was getting married." I rolled my eyes and I slipped off the second dress.
My eyes found the third bag and I took a deep breath. I slipped it on and went outside. I went straight to the mirror and I sank to my knees. The dress was a ice blue, there were black gems along the bodice trailing down the left side of my body, on the other side of my body there was a slit going up to my thigh. Dalia smiled, "This is your dress Calla." I smiled at my reflection, "this is my dress.." I ran back into the dresser, slipped the dress off carefully and I placed it back in the bag. When I came out, the furniture in the living room was back to where it was before and Angelica was standing, "It's been fun, but now y'all have to grow up and become what y'all are destined to become. I love y'all and I wish y'all the best of luck." I smiled and hugged her, "Hopefully you can come for a longer time, so you can meet the Nightshades." She smiled, "hopefully." She ruffled Dalia's hair and shot her a sweet smile, "I'll see y'all soon." We both nodded and she closed the door behind her softly.
Dalia and I ran up to the room we shared and we hanged our dresses gently. Dalia looked at me, "what now?" I smiled, "Now is the time for my crown and your tiara. Which means jewelry and shoes." She groaned. I laughed, "come on Riley."
