Chapter 25

I walked outside followed by Dalia and I bumped into a wall. "Watch it!" I heard a snarl coming from the wall. My head snapped up and my blue eyes met the glare of brown ones. I narrowed my eyes, "Who are you?" The girl lifted her nose, "Beta of the Blood Rose pack and you are?" I smirked, "Beta of the Nightshade Pack and Queen of the werewolf kind." I lifted my head as her eyes widened, "Your majesty. I did not-" I cut her off with a smile, "don't worry about it Hun. If I may ask, what are y'all doing here?" She looked nervous, "My pack is here because my alpha wanted to see you." I jerked slightly back, "Your alpha wanted to see me?" She nodded, "can you come with me?" I looked at her and nodded slowly, "Yeah sure." I turned to look at Dalia, "Here take the keys and go back to the castle." I mind linked her, [Have Quil, Antonio, Vince, and Dani come to me. You stay inside.] She nodded, [Okay.]

I saw Dalia get into the car and drive off, before I turned and followed the girl. She looked at me sideways, "So what's your name Queen?" I laughed, "Just call me Calla. What's yours?" She stepped over a boulder, "Lucy." I smiled at her, "That's a pretty name." She smiled, "Thanks. I like yours better though." I grinned at her. My nose inhaled the sharp scent of pine needles. I looked around and tensed up. We were already at the edge of the territory. "Where are we going?" Lucy looked at me, "My pack is just over this hill." I looked at her, "Lets go in wolf form because I'm not in the best shape.." She nodded and shifted into a sand colored wolf. I shifted into my white wolf and I trotted beside her. We reached the top of the hill and in between the trees was an old looking cabin. She walked down the hill and out came a lot of men. I shifted into my human form and I stood my distance. One man stood out the most, he had a burly build, his black hair was a striking contrast to his pale skin. His dark greed filled green eyes held my dark blue eyes captive.

"Queen Luna Jacqueline Calla Drakos. Pleasure to meet you, I am Asaru. Alpha of the Blood Rose Pack. We had a request, if you please." I took a few steps forward, "Asaru, why would you want to meet here, when I have a huge castle just inside the village.?" Asaru smiled, fangs glinting in the sunlight, "Well Queen, I'm so sorry for this, but you're coming with us." I shifted into my wolf form and took off running in the opposite direction when an arrow flew next to my head, I looked back and wolves were chasing me. I snarled and kicked off faster. I called out [RILEY! IM BEING AMBUSHED!!] Dalia's panicked voice burst through my thoughts, [RUN CALLA RUN!] I kicked off faster, determined to make it to the street, I felt a sharp pain on my hind leg and I twisted around and grabbed the wolf by his neck with my fangs and I ripped his throat out. I kept running when a black wolf leaped on me, I snarled and tried to buck it off when a dart hit the base of my spine. I whined and landed on my side, wheezing in breaths. Asaru smiled at me, and I shifted back into my human form. "You're mine now Queen." I whimpered as my eyelids grew heavy, [RILEY! HELP!] And I surrendered to darkness.
