The air is tense.
You can grab a knife and cut it half.
I can't help to look outside the window; the blue clouds are rapidly passing, looking down and I see the Green landscapes and tall buildings.

I sat there with no self expression to my face with my dark shades. I didn't want to make eye contact with anyone. I just want to be left alone for the moment.
"Please fasten your seat beats. We will be landing in Dallas Texas."

Joyce stayed behind in New Orleans moving my patients around, booking my fight, room and a picking a car.
She knew I wanted and needed to do this on my own.
Emma was expecting me to stay at her place but I couldn't find the energy in me to begging her for forgiveness and with stupid stomach bug lately, I just needed to be on my own.

Anxiety over took my body as my feet touch Texas ground and he pop in my mind.
I saw my driver holding a sign, "Doctor de Campo" I nodded and headed out to St. Peters.

He was going to be my personal driver for next couple days per Joy request.
What was I doing back at St. Peters?
Nora.
I was there for Nora, Gloria asked me to be there for her in her last days.
I had to see her.
I never really been to close to any one in Dallas another than my two friends and when Nora came into my life for a moment I felt like I had my mother back.

I was a person of my word, when I told Gloria and Nora if they need anything I would be there.
That's all it took to get me here.

I walk in with more confidence and less of a chip on my shoulder into St. Peters.
I finally arrive to Nora's room. There she was hook to machines that were breathing for her.

Gloria was sitting with her rosary necklace in her hand praying for her recovery.
She runs up to me, hugs me tightly and starts crying in my arms.
All I can do is hold her and what seems forever into I hear the door open.

It's him.

I'm still holding Gloria whose falling apart in my arms, his stares at with same desire he had weeks back.

He looks different, dress up in expensive suit not his usually Emt cargo uniform.

His hair was longer but slick back with curls on the ends and with a guard by his side.
He seems tense, collected and his lay back demeanor was gone.

"Alek, thank you for coming, I'm glad Art called you. She's been asking for you and Gia....I have to step out to see the caseworker...I'll be back shortly..."

She steps out leaving me alone with Alek and the strange man.
Alek nodded at him and he step out.

No words just a nod.

This man has completely changed, if I thought he was a man in charge then, look at him now. He was a completely in charge even his body was different.
