Zoe Franta

I woke up and smiled big. I looked over at Hayes who was sitting on the bed he was using on his phone. I unplugged my phone and Hayes heard. He looked up and smiled, getting up and joining me on my bed. We just sat there and checked our phones, then getting up. We both walked downstairs and Cameron, Jc, Nash, and Kian were down there.

"The couple has awoken!" Kian said dramatically.

"How did you know about that?" I asked.

"Totally not by listening to your conversation." He said.

"Right. Now if you'll excuse me, I shall eat food now." I replied, going to the cabinet and pulling out the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I poured myself a bowl of it and got the milk out of the refrigerator, putting it in my bowl. I sat down and ate my food on the island so I could talk with everyone.

"Oh, we are going to have a few friends over tonight. We are going to have a bon fire." Jc said.

"Ok, do you know who?" I asked.

"My friend Gloria, Sam's friend Tori, Kian's friend Jenna, Ricky's friend Saige, Ronnie, Lottie who is friends with all of us, and Connor's friend Leanna." Jc replied.

"Ok, thanks." I replied.

**

"Guess who." I said, going behind Hayes and deepening my voice.

"Hm, I know it's not Zoe because she sounds nothing like that." Hayes said sarcastically, causing me to laugh.

"Your wrong!" I said, trying to say it seriously.

"Damn it!" Hayes replied, laughing. "Come join me." He said shortly after, patting the spot next to him.

The bon fire was getting started and everyone was here. I gladly sat down, feeling the warmth of the fire engulf me. Everybody was here. Lottie had brown hair that was just past her shoulders, blue eyes, and looked about 5'5. Tori had blonde hair that was also just past her shoulders, blue eyes, and looked about 5'3. Jenna had long red hair, brown eyes, and looked about 5'4. Leanna had long brown hair, brown eyes, and looked about 5'8. Saige had long strawberry blonde hair, green eyes, and looked about 5'4.

"There better be smores!" Hayes joked to everyone.

"Have a bonfire without smores?" Jc said dramatically, placing his hand over his heart.

I laughed at his reaction and took the clothes hanger that Hayes handed me out of his hand. We all sat down and we passed around the marshmallows, putting them on our clothes hangers and placing them over the fire. As soon as I noticed a perfect golden-brown marshmallow, I pulled it out of the fire and placed it on one of the pre-laid out smores. I used the graham cracker to pull the marshmallow off. I then placed the rest of the smore together and took a bite out of it. It was amazing to say the least.

"Let me have a bite!" I heard Hayes say, pulling the smore out of my hand and taking a bite.

"Hayes!" I whined, trying to grab the smore back.

He ate the rest of it and rubbed his belly. I glared at him and slowly started inching closer to him. He backed away just as slowly, knowing what was about to go down. I bolted towards him, chasing him all around the yard.

"You will not get away with that!" I yelled to him, gaining up on him.

"Oh but I will!" He said back, picking up his speed.

I caught up to him and tackled him onto the ground, landing on top of him. He looked at me and smiled. I bit my lip.

"Caught you." I said, smirking at him.

"Fine, you did." Hayes said, frowning.

I noticed that I was still on him, and started to climb off of him. Hayes grabbed my waist and pulled me back down onto him though. I groaned and rolled my eyes.

"Hayes!" I said.

"Zoe!" He mimicked.

I looked into his eyes and they flickered from mine to my lips. I slowly leaned in and our lips touched. It was a pretty amazing kiss to say the least. I pulled apart and looked at Hayes. He was also smiling.

"That was absolutely amazing." He said, smiling like he just won a million dollars.

"That was." I replied.

I got off of him and helped him up. I noticed that everyone was looking at us, Connor looking confused, angry, and happy. He must not of known. Everybody else clapped and the boys started wolf whistling. I hid my red face in Hayes's chest. Once they stopped we sat back down and joined in at singing the Campfire Song Song and roasting more marshmallows.

"Could I talk to you Zoe?" Connor asked me after everyone left.

"If your gonna yell at me save it." I replied.

"I'm not going to, I just want to talk." Connor said.

"Fine." I replied, following him upstairs and into his room.

"Are you and Hayes dating?" He asked me.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"I just don't want him to hurt you. He is famous Zoe, so know that this won't be a private relationship." Connor reminded me.

"I know. I can deal with it though. I don't care what people think of me." I replied.

"Okay, just know that I will know if he hurts you." Connor said.

"I know that. Can I go now? I am pretty tired." I said.

"Yep. Just remember what I said." Connor answered.

I walked out of his room and into mine. I saw Hayes there and when he saw me he smiled. I sat down next to him and he wrapped an arm around me.

"What did he tell you?" Hayes asked.

"That our relationship won't be private and that if you hurt me he will know." I said.

"Well I wouldn't even hurt you if it means it would save my life." Hayes replied.

That was adorable. I smiled and placed my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes. I sat there for a few minutes, drifting in and out of consciousness.

"You can go to bed." Hayes said.

"But your comfortable." I replied sleepily.

"What if I lay down with you until you fall asleep?" Hayes asked me.

"Okay." I replied, smiling.

I got up and went over to my bed, cuddling up to Hayes. I fell asleep in his arms, hoping it can be like this when I'm older.
