I was with my mother and sister shopping. I hadn't want to come because I still held a grudge over my sister. My mother claimed that I needed to stop overreacting. Can you believe that? I know it's time for me to move on but. How could she, she's my damn sister. I'm allowed to be as mad as I want for as long as I desire. My father and Dallas told me not to go, but mother has her ways for getting her way. I was their mule. As they bought I just carried their things. They always went to the malls with only one or two plus sized clothing stores. That's why I opened my own.
"Alicia, If you lost this damn weight you would've been living life similar to your sister's." My mom said. I rolled my eyes. I walked away and started looking at a purse. It was a Michael Kors bag that costs $358.00 dollars they had to be out of their minds.
"See if you had a working husband like your sister, you would be able to buy this bag." My mother said once again. I couldn't believe she was saying this, she was there. Why is she acting like Megan was perfect. I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Ma'am would you like this bag, in any other color?" a girl asked. I looked at her skeptically
"Oh she can't afford this bag." My mother huffed, I rolled my eyes and walked away. I was on my way out when I felt strong arms grab me. The comforting feeling told me exactly who he was.
"Can I kill myself with a water gun?" I asked. His laugh vibrated his chest. I giggled.
"No, baby girl but you can let me save you." he said looking down at me.
"You couldn't save me unless you were my boyfriend with a great job and amazing looks." I said. He looked down at me and gave me that 'Really?' face. I giggled.
"You have two, bout I doubt she'll believe that your my boyfriend." I said. He smacked his lips.
"Watch a professional do this. Just look as fine as you do ight?" he said. I nodded and walked back over to my mother. Megan was trying something on. As soon as she walked out I felt arms wrap around my waist. Megan's eyes were glued to me and Dallas. My mother then turned to face the sight.
"Excuse me but you must have the wrong girl." My mother spoke. Dallas nibbled at my ear lob making me giggle.
"Sir you have the wrong girl this is my daughter." My mother spoke.
"Oh, I apologize ma'am. I'm Dallas, your daughter's man." he spoke. I smiled. I liked the sound of calling Dallas my man.
"Is this true Alicia?" My mother glared at me. I just nodded.
"Why haven't I heard of this Dallas?" She asked me.
"I-I-I" I stuttered, I couldn't lie especially to my parents.
"Because, we wanted to make sure we're right for each other before rushing to meet family members." He said. Damn he's good, I'm starting to believe in him and I know he's lying.
"Well, are you two right for each other?" she asked. I begged him to say no with my mind but it didn't work.
"I'd say we are." he answered. I sighed, cause I knew he just went down the wrong road.
"Perfect well are you prepared to meet her father?" She asked, he looked down and smiled at me.
"Of course I am." He said with so much confidence. My father was who spoiled me and gave me a childhood. I'm his princess and he's my first king. He never liked Troy for me but my mother forced me into believing he is the one. And turns out he wasn't the one for me.
"Well, we're having a family dinner you should come." Megan said. Dallas ignored her and looked down at me.
"Would you like me to join your family to dinner tonight?" he asked me. I was about to say 'No'
"She's going to say 'No' I can just feel it." Megan said rolling her eyes.
"Yes, I want you to come and meet my father, shoot call Aunt May-Belle over too." I said. They all looked at me like I was crazy. Dallas grabbed the bags from my hand and handed them to my mother before grabbing a hold of my hand talking me all the way to his car. I got in and he sat next to me and released a large breath of air.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean too. But I guarantee my mother doesn't like you which means my father and aunt will adore you." I said. He grabbed my hand and started the car. This song lowly played as he drove around. I listened to this song and he looked at me and sighed.
"Alicia, I think I'm in love with you. Cause all that I was saying in the mall I wished was true." he spoke. I smiled and kissed his jaw.
"I know for a fact I love you." I said. Then the radio announcer rang through.
"HEY WHAT'S UP HOT 103.6, THAT'S THAT THROWBACK BY TYNISHA KELI, MY EVERYTHING!" The announcer yelled as if he knew I wanted to know the song and artist.
"Can that song be ours?" I asked he smiled and nodded. He pecked my lips and I felt that feeling that I felt in my dream.
"Okay now where are we?" he asked, I giggled.
"I have no idea." I lied he chuckled and reversed.
"Please baby, tell me how to get to somewhere I can call the cops and tell them you did rape me." he said seriously. I rolled my eyes he was such a big kid it was crazy that he was the one that was twelve years older.
"Just keep, going straight, and You'll be on the main road." I gave him the directions.
"I can't believe I drove you somewhere with out knowing where I was going. I guarantee your father would've labeled that as kidnapping." he chuckled. I laughed. It was true.
"Yup, his fat thirty-two year old baby goes missing." I joked, but when he stopped I knew that he didn't like what I just said. I've realized that Dallas loved my size and hated when I acted like I wasn't happy with myself.
"Baby you're not fat, you're thick and beautiful woman with beautiful curves." he said. I smiled and kissed his jaw once again. He chuckled and continued to drive.
"Thank you Dallas I really appreciate you so much." I said. He smiled and drove straight to my house so that we could get dressed. Dallas developed a habit to sleep over at my house so he started leaving; suits, shirts, shoes, underwear, cologne, and watches.
"Let's get you ready to meet my daddy and my favorite aunty." I smiled as I pushed him into my home.
