Mouse and Amy got back before Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity did. So during that time, Mouse got to work on something, and Amy went on Tumblr and YouTube.
While working, Mouse couldn't focus. He wondered of what Amy thought of him now that they had spent little time together. Would he ever be able to tell her how he felt?
He would occasionally look over at Amy. And on some of those occasions, he would find her laughing quietly to herself. (She was probably watching a Danisnotonfire video).
*She's so cute,* Mouse thought. He was right about to resume his task, when out of nowhere...
"WHY?! WHAT IS THIS?!?!??" Amy started screaming. She was staring at her phone with an expression of confusion.
"What's going on, Ellie?" Tank asked her, afraid of what she would say next.
"Look at this!" Amy commanded, practically shoving her phone into his face.
"What the fuck is?" Tank asked, just as confused as Amy.
"It's a bunch of Dan faces put onto Nikki Minaj," Amy explained, being calm for a brief moment. "WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THIS?!?!?!?!?!"
"Relax, L, it's just Photoshop," Tank reasoned.
"'Just Photoshop,'" she quoted him. "Oppa ("brother" in Korean), it's a monstrosity! And that's not all. There's the 'Skin Fic.'"
"No, I'm done with you and Tumblr," Tank established jokingly as he turned back to his computer. Amy just laughed in response.
A few minutes later, Morpheus, Neo, and Trinity came back.
"Welcome back," Dozer greeted. "How is everything?"
"We're going to have to go into The Matrix," Morpheus simply said.
"Why?" Switch asked as she and Apoc came into the room.
"Agent Smith is a threat to the existence of humans," Morpheus explained.
"How so?" Dozer wondered.
"He wants to get rid of our kind," answered the leader.
"Wow, what a hater," Amy smirked.
"You're such a kid, Amy," Apoc scolded.
"I am a kid," she shrugged casually. Amy and Mouse made eye-contact and shared a grin.
"When do we go?" Mouse asked, sounding somewhat excited.
"As soon as possible," Morpheus estimated (not really).
"Which also means 30-second bathroom break, then beat it, right?" Amy translated.
"Pretty much," Trinity confirmed.
"Sounds like fun," Amy remarked sarcastically.
