Her Smile

Our fingers are entertwined

And all I can see is the sun

Reflecting at me through her molten eyes

Her eyes, forming crescents for her smile is so wide

And she's smiling at me

With such love

That I can only wish for this moment to last if only a bit longer

And then she's off

Pulling me along the shore

As she marvels

At the ocean

Becoming tranquil and calm

At the waves

Lulling back and forth

At the sand

Wading further and further

At the glassy sky

Stretching beyond and farther

At me

As I run with her, hands clasped, hearts beating wildly

And we stop

Collapse onto the sand

Collapse into the blanket of our dreams

Collapse into her smile

Collapse into the love she holds

Collapse into the colors of her hair, her eyes, her glowing skin

Collapse into her smile

As she collapses into me

Sending us tumbling and tumbling into the water

And all she can do is laugh

As she holds me

As I collapse into her

Into her smile
