Mean Girls - Jenlisa

Jennie Kim's home

Lisa woke up early in the morning. After taking a shower, she quickly rummaged through her closet to look for a sleeveless shirt.

When she found one she quickly wore it together with some skinny jeans and converse.

"Hey mom. Hey dad." Lisa greeted her parents once she saw them at the dining area, she also gave them a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, champ! How's school?" Her dad asked.

"School's been great. I've gained a lot of new friends." Lisa said with a smile.

After eating, she said bye to her parents and went to the bus station.

Once Jennie saw Lisa getting down from the bus, her shirt has caught her attention.

"Look at what she's wearing, her clothes are horrendous oh my gosh. I don't wanna be seen with her if she's wearing THAT." Jennie told Rosé and Jisoo.

"I know right? Just tell her we have to do some activity later so that we wouldn't have to deal with her today." Rosé proudly said.

"Wow Rosé, is that really you? For once you had a great idea!" Jisoo said with a fake shock expression, earning a glare from Rosè.

"Hey you!" Jennie called a random girl from the hallway. "You see the girl wearing a sleeveless shirt with aztec print and lace?" Jennie said and pointed to where Lisa was located. The random girl nodded, she was confused but she did not ask any further, just like everyone, she don't wanna get on Jennie's bad side.

"Tell her we won't be able to make it on lunch because we still have some school works to do and tell her to just meet us at downtown after school." Jennie added. The girl nodded and went to tell Lisa.

"Did she tell you why?" Lisa asked the random girl who talked to her.

The girl nodded, "Yes. She told me, her and and the other two girls are going to do some schoolworks at lunch. Also, meet them at downtown after school."

Lisa nodded, said her thank you and walked on the way to their classroom.

"I thought you were having lunch with Jennie and her cult today?" June asked Lisa when he noticed that she was following them.

"She asked some girl a while ago to tell me that they have to do some schoolworks at this time." Lisa replied and shrugged.

"I heard the school is opening some clubs tomorrow. What are you guys planning on joining?" Jeongyeon asked her two friends.

"Well.. I'm planning on joining Science club. How about you?" June replied.

"I'm in for Music club. How about you, Lisa?" Jeongyeon asked Lisa, who was busily slurping her soup.

"Oh.. I'm thinking, dance club. Dance club, yeah." Lisa replied then continued on munching her food.

"I didn't think you dance.." June told Lisa.

"Well.. I do. I love doing it. It's one of my passions." Lisa said proudly.

"Can't wait to see you rock the stage soon!" Lisa's two friends cheered.

Just as they were finished eating, the bell rang, indicating that lunch is already over.

"History is our next subject right?" June asked while they were walking on the way to their room.

"Yes." Lisa replied which made June groan. All the three of them hated this subject, they really find it boring. It's like time is slowly ticking whenever they are having History class.

The trio didn't have a choice but to attend their least favorite subject.

Lisa decided to walk on the way to the downtown where she and 'The Plastics' are supposed to meet since it's just a 15 minute walk away from their school. She decided she needed a little exercise. When she was already halfway on the way to the downtown, she heard a beep of a car which took her by surprise. Lisa jumped out at the sound and was ready to strangle whoever  that culprit is but was surprised when she saw 'The Plastics' in a convertible laughing at Lisa's reaction. Lisa felt a little embarrassed but decided to shrug it of.

"Hop in, loser. We're going to our house." Jennie who was driving, called Lisa. Jisoo was seated at the passenger seat and Chaeyoung at the backseat. Lisa opened the door at the back and joined Chaeyoung.

Lisa did not bother texting her parents since they are staying in Busan for three days.

"What do you think of this dress?" Chaeyoung asked Lisa and showed her the picture of clothing that was in her phone.

"It looks good, I think it will look better when you wear it." Lisa told Chaeyoung which made the girl squeal in delight.

The truth is, Lisa thought the dress was a bit too revealing for her own taste but she was being honest when she told Chaeyoung that it's going to look good on her.

After a few more questions regarding clothes from Chaeyoung, "You know what? We should go shopping some time." Chaeyoung told her which Lisa gladly agreed to.

Throughout the whole ride, Lisa was either feeling the music on Jennie's car stereo, and feeling the fresh wind slapping her face.

Lisa was mesmerized when she saw these tall gates in front of her.

If these gates already look expensive, what more when we get inside..

She was right, the inside was majestic. Trees were spread out all over the entrance and there was this huge water fountain in the middle that is surrounded with flowers. She was also amazed by how big Jennie's home is, it's like designed after a castle or something.

"We're here!" Jennie shouted as she got down from the driver's seat and removing Lisa out from her trance.

Once they entered inside the room, Lisa can't help but look around the beauty inside it.

"Girls, girls, girls!" Jennie's mom called out and quickly hugged each one of the girls. Once it was Lisa's turn to be hugged, Jennie's mom asked "Who are you hun? I believe this is my first time seeing you!" She told Lisa with a welcoming tone and a smile on her face.

Lisa returned her warm smile and introduced herself, "It's Lisa, Mrs. Kim. Nice to meet you!"

"Oh no honey, don't call me Mrs. Kim. It's making me sound old." Jennie's mom told Lisa with a chuckle. "Just call me aunty, just like these two calls me." She continued. Lisa nodded and offered her a smile once again.

Jennie's mom left them and went to prepare some food and drinks for the girls.

Once the girls got into Jennie's room, Jisoo and Rosè plopped down on the bed, Jennie went to take a shower whereas Lisa was looking around the room. Lisa was mesmerised by everything in Jennie's room, she saw Jennie's picture from when she was a kid on the dresser, she saw the cd music collection of Jennie, and some famous books neatly aligned on the shelf.

Lisa noticed a blue glittery book that was mis-aligned from the shelf so she decided to place it properly amongst the other books, but when she was about to touch the book, Jennie called her "Lisa!"

Once Jennie got out of the shower, with a towel on her hair, she saw Lisa almost touching the thing she's been trying to hide for years.
Jennie lowkey panicked but immediately thought of a way to stop Lisa from getting it. "Can I have some wet wipes?" Jennie asked Lisa. Which the girl gladly obliged, she noticed a bit of panic was evident in her voice.

Jennie went to grab what Lisa was trying to get a while ago and stored it in a cabinet nearby when Lisa went back to where her bag was located which is on Jennie's bed together with Rosè and Jisoo.

"Here." Lisa handed out the pack of wet wipes to Jennie and she took a glance to the shelf but was surprised when the blue glittery book was nowhere to be found. She felt suspicious.

Why did Jennie hide it?

Was there something in that book or whatever that is that could ruin her?

I have to find out.
