"Ohhhhh, Harlow look at you"my friend said while smiling widely at me. Her name was Barbra. I don't know her last name. Don't need to know. But some of my coworkers said she was bisexual or a lesbian.

"Thanks. Feels good to be back and ready to work"I smiled.

"Why you say that? You know Mr. Jordan is coming to check on us"my other co-worker said. She the one who think she knows everything.

"Mr. Jordan?"I ask.

"He gives us a lot of stuff. New scrubs, shoes, technology items, purses, handbags"She said smiling.

"Sounds like a nice man"I said while on the computer. It's been a slow day. No one came in the E.R till now.

"We need help now!"the paramedics came in with a women who was bleeding out her head.

"What happened!"the doctor ask.

"She was shot in the head in broad daylight. Some one said it was a man with a big jacket"the man said.

"I'm not worried about that. Is she still alive?"

"Faintly"the paramedics said.

"Alright. We take it from here"the doctor said. I was doing my job by putting a air bag on the patient mouth to give her oxygen. The bullet was still in her head. We have to get it out.

All of sudden, her heart stop. "Shit"I mumble.

"We need cpr now!!"one of the nurses yelled. I got to work and started cpr on her. I dont think this gone work. She ain't dying from her heart. Shes dying cause of the bullet in her head.

"Defibrillator"the nurse rub the things together then place it on the woman. "1,2,3"the electricity went through her body. But we got nothing.

"Try it again"I said. We did it the second time. Still, nothing. I don't think she's dead.

"Let's stop. Shes gone"the doctor said. She died. Right in front of me. Oh My God.

"Damn"I mumble. I step out the room walking to the bathroom. I don't want them to see me cry. I walk in the bathroom crying my eyes out. I can't believe she died in front of me. I feel like it's my fault.

"Harlow?"someone called me. I look up seeing my coworkers. "Harlow, it happens all the time. Sometimes we don't work fast enough to save them"She said.

"I just, need time to myself"I said.

"Okay"they walk out the bathroom. I stayed in the bathroom for 2 minutes then walk out. When i walk out, I bump into this man with broad shoulder. He was tall, black, I can tell he had abs. "I-I'm sorry"

"No, it's okay. I just need to watch out where im going"he smiled then walk away. His smile is so....... God I'm in love.
