The Nightmare Outside My Window

{ Michael }

I woke up to the sound of Jr crying. I hurried out of my bed running towards the staircase. I ran upstairs to Jr nursery room. Jr was crying his little ass off. Either her hungry or need his diaper change.

"I got you baby boy"I picked him up and carried him to the changing station. I took off his diaper seeing that he peed. I changed his diaper quickly and rock him back to sleep.

Finally he was asleep. I put him back in the bed and walked out his room. Now how I'ma go back to sleep.

I made my way to the kitchen so I can make me a snack. I grab some Oreos out the pantry and a glass to put my milk in. As I was fixing my snack, I kept thinking about how I snapped on Harlow and made her cry. I didn't mean to slap her. But I have problems. I don't like when my woman is being lazy and don't want to anything. I understand she just gave birth to Jr, but needs to do something around the house. I'm the one bringing in money.

{ Morning }

"Morning"I said to Harlow as she fixed some coffee. I didn't hear her say good morning back. I'm not in the mood for her attitude right now. "Harlow I said good....."

"I heard you"she mumble fixing herself some coffee. She grabbed her cup and phone. "Morning" and walked away from me.

Usually she will fix my cup for me. But I guess not. I sigh heavily trying to control my anger. I grabbed my cup and fixed my coffee myself. I have a meeting today. Hopefully this meeting goes well. I'm expecting new things at the hospital. So when Harlow comes back, rules done change.

{ Later }

"Morning Mr. Jordan"the ladies said as I walked through the doors. I smiled at them and made my way to the meeting room.

Every woman wanted me. I can hear them whispering and smiling at me. "Morning Michael"one of the nurses said playing in her hair. I waved at her and kept walking.

I walked inside the meeting room being greeted by the doctor's and other important people who I personally don't care about.

"Morning everyone"I said.

"Morning"they all replied back.

"Today we are here because I want to make some changes to this hospital"I said.

"Changes"one of the doctors said.

"Yes, changes"I said looking deep into his eyes. He turn his head away from me avoiding eye contact. "So we all know that some of the nurses are very pushing"I smiled.

"Some of them"another doctor said.

"Well, if they get out of line. Write them up. The write up is to suspend them for a week without pay"I said. "Any questions about that"

Nobody didn't say anything. "Good"I smiled. "Next"

{ Later }

"That was a good meeting"I smiled at one of my colleagues.

"Yeah very good. But I think you went a bit far"she said.

"What the hell you mean?"

"Suspend them if they run late. These women and men kids Michael"

"So what? I have a child and I'm here"I said.

"Cause, the nurse you fucked is watching over him. How could you do that? And then you tells the doctor's no funny shit with the nurses"

"Look, do you want to fire and on the streets?"I ask. She kept quiet looking at her shoes. "I don't think so"I fixed my suit and tie then walk out the meeting room bumping into raja.

"Well excuse me"raja said. "I thought you was home with Harlow"

"I had a meeting today. Where you supposed to be?"I ask.

"I went to drop off something to a doctor requested by another doctor. I heard what you said in that meeting room"raja folded her arms.

"Can you handle the new rules"I smirked.

"I can. But Harlow don't"raja said then walked away from me.

I don't see what's the big deal.
