I was in bed reading a book about love and friendship. How to get a man also. I'm not to desperate for a man but it is time for me to settle down. My mom always said get your education first then you get man. She did it backwards.

I got up from bed walking to the kitchen which was downstairs. I went to the kitchen window so I can turn off the light above the sink.  I look out the window seeing a man with a trench coat but he had a hoodie on. So I couldn't see his face. But why does he keep coming over to her apartment and beats her.

I moved away from the window and went to my fridge to get something to drink. I grab a bottle of water and some fruit rollups.

I walk back to my room so I can watch t.v. and stay up. No work tomorrow but I do have a run in a morning.  2k run for cancer people. I'm doing it for my grandfather.

Morning

I pull up to the park where the race would be. I'm not excited but a bit tired. Like I need to wake my ass up. I hop out my car going to the park.

I saw a lot of people here ready to run. Last time it was only 200 people. Now it's 700. I stretch my legs a bit ready to run till I saw Mr. Jordan. He was so fine as hell. God them muscle was like calling for me.

I wasn't even paying attention to the race cause a lot of people started running even him. I shook my head a bit and ran with the people.

I was running so good listening to my music when someone ran on side me. I started feeling them staring at me and smiling. Who is this person? I turn my head towards them and couldn't believe who I was looking at. Mr. Jordan.

"Hi nurse"he said as we kept running. I didn't want to talk to him for what he said to me yesterday.

"Hi Mr. Jordan"I said.

"Why you here today?"he ask.

"Just running for my grandpa"I said.

"Oh okay. Had cancer?"

"Yeah,  what about you? Who you running for?"I ask.

"For my family"he said.

"What happened?"I ask.

"My mom, dad, little sister, aunt, uncle, grandparents all had cancer. My sister is at stage 2 right now"oh my. Damn that's sad.

"Oh wow. I'm sorry"I said.

"I never gotten your name. What's your name?"he ask.

"Harlow"I said.

"Pretty name"he smiled. I chuckle a bit and smiled. "Mine is Michael"

"Well, nice to meet you Michael"I said.

"I'm sorry about what happened yesterday, but that's the new rule now"

"It's okay, I understand the new sponsor trying to make an expression on everybody"I said.

"Seems like I did already. All the ladies love me"he smiled.

"Not all love you"I kept running but he stop. I can tell he was starring at my ass.
