i woke up and blocked my eyes from the sunlight with my hands, i rubbed them and let my vision clear up again. i cock my head as i noticed i was in a white room, then i remembered what happened yesterday. i looked around the room as my eyes layed on the heart rate monitor beside jisoo's bed, it was raising up and down. i looked over at jisoo who was still laying down peacefully, "he might have a chance to wake up today." i looked over to the door to see dr. kim standing. "i'm sorry to intrude at this hour but i came to check on mr. hong." dr. kim told me as i nodded then stood up and bowed at him, "i-it's alright doctor." i said as dr. kim examined jisoo, i frowned at the jisoo's state and felt a tear run down my already tear stained cheek.

"his breathing is getting slightly better, and the good news is he might wake up later." dr. kim continued as i sniffed and nodded smiling a little, "t-thanks doctor." i said as he smiled back at me. "oh yeah, your friend. what was his name again?" he asked me and to himself i think as then he snapped his fingers, "ah yes, hansol. the boy brought both of your stuff here and told me to tell you that they might arrive here at i think," dr. kim said then looked at his watch then back at me. "at more likely one o'clock in the afternoon." he added as i checked the clock as it read as '10:17 am' , dr. kim walked past me and patted my shoulder as he walked outside and closed the door.

i walked back towards my phone to see that it was lowbat, i looked for my charger in my backpack as i grabbed it from the pocket and plugged it in ny phone as i left it to charge. i looked back at jisoo as my heart slowly shatters again. jisoo was breathing atleast, i walked towards the bed and held his hand and brought it to my mouth and kissed it gently. another tear escaped my eye as i took another look at jisoo; he was pale, his heart rate was stable but not stable enough, his lips were still pink and kissable. damn i really want to kiss those lips. i set his hand down slowly back into the bed as i remember the times when me and him were little.

both of us met when we were in pre-school, he was a new student and was lonely during recess. i was the only one that approached him then, we became instant friends at that time. he was my first bestfriend, we never left eachother's side unless we have projects and exams, we were always there for eachother when one of us is sad and we loved eachother as friends during those time.

"but now, i want to love you as your forever." i said to jisoo who was still unconscious as i placed my hand above his and sighed, i hear my phone set off a notification as i walked towards it. i got ahold of my phone as i unlocked it to see a lot of messages from the groupchat,

i sighed then smiled as i typed away my answers to the chat,

[dokyum🐎: @minghow?🐸 he's doing fine! but with the heart rate monitor thingy attached to him...]

i chuckled as the groupchat blasted notifications at me as i turn my phone off to check the fridge for some food that hansol might've left here. i saw some muffins, coco-choco muffins to be exact, they were the muffins from our cafe. i smiled and grabbed one of the muffins and took a bite out of it, i walked over to a window. which i thought it was a window but a balcony instead, i cocked my eyebrow as i opened the glass door that leads to the small balcony. "what a fancy hospital this is." i said as i leaned on the ledge as i smiled at the view from the fourth floor, then a flashback accured in my mind. it was when me and jisoo hyung were still in highschool, he was a sophomore while i was a freshman and we were on the rooftop of our school at night. we were admiring the stars and lights below us, i remembered that i was blushing because jisoo looked so cute when he was admiring the view. i snapped out of the flashback as i looked at the view again, i looked up to see the sun shining as i smiled.

"jisoo hyung always liked the sun." i said mostly to myself as i walked back to the room, i checked the clock to see that it was already '12:07' in the afternoon. i walked over to the chair near the bed as i sat down on it and scooted closer to jisoo, placing the unfinished muffin on the nightstand. i take ahold of jisoo's hands again as i kissed it again, "please wake up hyung, i miss you already." i said as i interwined my fingers with his and stare at his face.
