Short update!

Kelly's POV
As soon as we entered the event hall, I immediately heard the music. The music is just loud enough to be pleasant for the ears. The event will begin in a few minutes and there are already a lot of people inside. I feel excited and nervous at the same time, I don't even know why am I nervous.
The crowd congratulated Sir Eljie, I just followed behind him as I always do. All I need to do is be by his side so that he won't have to look for me when he has anything to say. Ngunit nabo-boring naman ako sa ganito, tahimik lang ako sa likuran niya, I want someone to talk to. That's why I started to wander my eyes around hoping to see Clara and others.
'Nasaan ba kasi sila?'
"Are you looking for someone?" Sir Eljie spoke, and I turned to face him, I didn't realize he was looking at me while I was busy looking around.
"I was looking for Clara, Sir." sagot ko sa kanya, deretso lamang ang tingin niya sa akin at kumunot ang kanyang noo sa aking sagot.
"You have a minutes left to find her, and you need to be by my side before the event begins." he said and left me, kaya naman hindi ko na sinayang ang oras nagsimula na akong mag-ikot upang hanapin sila Clara.
And there, I saw Clara with Marie, Febbie, Jonah, and Alvin. I approached them since they were cheerfully conversing at a round table set. They noticed me as soon as I got close to them, that's why they greeted me with their smiles and I returned their smiles.
"You just arrived?" Jonah asked, I immediately nodded my head.
"Oo, and I only have minutes to hunt you, guys."
"Why? Hindi ka tatabi sa amin?" Clara asked with a frown.
"Sir Eljie only gave me a few minutes, he said I had to come back immediately."
"Curfew yarn?" natatawang sambit ni Febbie, natawa nalang din kami.
"Siguro possessive at strict siyang boyfriend, no?" bigla nalang nabanggit ni Clara. "I mean, he looks like a strict boyfriend." she added, and when she said that I couldn't help but think what kind of boyfriend Sir Eljie is? He always seems surly, thus it's likely that he'll be surly with his future partner as well. But who am I to judge or jump into conclusion, right?
"There's only way I can think so we can know." tila kinikilig na sabi ni Marie, and just by the way how she looks at me right now, seems like the next word that will come out off of her mouth won't be to my liking.
"And what is it?" Febbie asked.
"I suggest Kelly to know it for us." sagot naman ni Marie. As expected. And there, they began to tease me and it makes me blush and uncomfortable at the same time.
"Stop it, I won't do it just to fill your curiosity, guys. Stop teasing me, we shouldn't talking about our boss like that." I rolled my eyes, but not in a rude way, but in a way to show them how uncomfortable to talk about that.
Besides, it is not good be teased like that, 'cause I might fall. May ganoon kasi talaga na, hindi mo naman talaga gusto ang isang tao, ngunit sa kakatukso nila sayo o sa inyo ay magkakaroon ka talaga ng feelings nang wala sa oras. And I don't think I can love again yet, I'm afraid my heart will shuttered into pieces again. Then if it's Sir Eljie I know it's not possible, knowing that we have a big gap in our social status, it will only give me heart ache if I ever fall inlove in him, so as long as I can I will set a barrier between us. 'By the way? Why am I thinking about falling for him? Sabi na e, iba talaga ang naidudulot ng panunukso na 'yan!'
