The flight was as normal as possible and I couldn't help but wonder if Lagos would be like my flight–boring. But I doubt I would find it boring knowing what I left behind and who I was.
I have done so many things I'm not proud of but within the past few years I tried to change and going back to Lagos was going to determine if I had succeeded.
The plane finally landed and I was relieved because I almost lost it in there. I grabbed my luggage, took in a deep breath and walked with my head up high.
