Chapter 10

Audrey

I woke up and found myself in a house, I was shocked and I immediately scanned the room, Kath came to me and calmed me down.

"Hey, don't worry, we're safe." Kath said,

"Where are we?" I asked,

"We're just in some kind of a house." Kath said,

"Aren't we supposed to be on the car?" I asked,

"Yeah, but the wheel got sabotaged, so Ethan had to find some tools to fix the wheel, this house was the nearest one so we brought you here and waited." Kath responded,

"Where is Christian?" I asked,

"He's with Ethan, helping or guiding him, I guess?" Kath responded,

"How long will it take them to fix the wheel?" I asked,

"I don't know, it took us long to find this house, and Ethan didn't knew there were tools in this house all along."

"So, when did they started to fix it?"

"I don't know, but they did left fifteen minutes ago."

I lay my head on the bed, Kath stroke my hair and left the room, I sat and rested my back on the wall first, I finally stood and walked out of the room. The house was big, I made my way downstairs and searched for Kath, she called me back and she led me to the Kitchen, she sat there and gave me snacks, I opened it and ate a chip, I also asked Kath for a juice, she handed me one and I drank.

Later, Christian came at the house, he was sweaty, but he became relieved to see me awake.

"Oh, Audrey, you're awake." Christian said happily,

"Yeah." I said,

Christian took two towels but before he could reach the door I asked him.

"How's Ethan?"

"He's fine." Christian responded,

I nodded and ate again, I saw Kath smiling at me but she looked away, we continued eating until we were stuffed, I went to the Living Room and sat in the couch, Kath sat beside me and I asked her.

"Where's my gun anyway?"

"It's in the car, why?" She asked,

"Nothing, maybe we could kill zombies right now?" I said,

"I mean, that could be great but our gun is in the car." Kath said,

"I'll get it."

I went back to the car, It wasn't really far, so I just walked instead of running, I arrived in the car and saw Ethan, he smiled when he saw me.

"Audrey, thank god you're okay." Ethan said,

"Yeah, but where is my gun and Kath's?" I asked,

"It's in the car." Ethan responded,

I went in the car and took my gun and Kath's, I went back immediately to the House, Kath was sitting at the couch, I gave her her gun, we started going upstairs and went out the Terrace, we looked for Zombies but none was coming out, until Later a zombie came out, it was far away so Instead I made Kath shoot it, she tried shooting but she kept missing, until I told her she can do it and finally she shot it.

Later, we got bored of waiting so we just explored the room, we jumped from the beds happily, when we got the Master Bedroom, Kath realized something on the bed.

"Hey, this bed looks hard." Kath said,

"It looks soft." I said,

"Let's check below the bed." Kath said,

We checked below and we saw a bag, it was zipped so we unzipped it and what we saw surprised us.

"Guns!"
