Ethan

I watched Felicia bleeding, she became pale, I stood beside Audrey who was looking at her too.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Audrey asked,

"I didn't knew also, I felt someone held my hand but I didn't felt it bit." Felicia responded scaredly,

"Wait, the man, he might have a cure."

"Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Derek." Derek introduced,

"Derek, do you have a cure? Felicia was bitten." Kath asked,

"I don't, but we won't make it in time to the Evacuation."

"How long does it take for them to turn into a zombie?"

"I don't know, it depends."

"This submarine we'll take us to the Evacuation but it'll take thirty minutes, she might be a zombie already if we reach there." Derek continued,

"Then, Felicia we have no choice but to kill you, but we'll kill you if you turn into a zombie."

Felicia nodded, Derek chained her to a room where there aren't any things, It's just her and the chains, I peered through the peephole and she looked pale.

Later, Derek came running to a room, I followed him to the room and I found myself to a room where they control the submarine, there was another guy driving it.

"Hey, what you doing here?" Derek asked,

"Why were you running?"

"You don't wanna know."

"Just tell me."

"Something's broken, I'm afraid we can't go to the Evacuation."

"But you told us we will."

"I know that's why I'm going to call someone to track us and pick us up to where we will stop."

"You make sure that we reach the Evacuation."

"Of course, that's our job."

I then left and went back to sit.

"Where'd you go?" Audrey asked,

"I just went to Derek." I responded,

"What did you talk to him about?"

"I'll tell you later."

Audrey nodded and checked the room where Felicia was, she closed her eyes shut and covered her mouth, she went back to sit and stared blankly at the floor, I checked the room also and found Felicia turned into a zombie already, she was struggling to get out but the chains were strong for her.

"Okay, I'll tell you now." I said,

"What?" Audrey asked,

"Derek said there's something broken in the submarine and that we won't reach the Quarantine."

"What?"

"But he'll call someone to track us and pick us up to where we'll stop."

"Okay."

I rested my back on the wall, Kath arrived from another room, she sat beside Audrey, Audrey looked at me giving me a "should I tell her?" look, I nodded and she told her, I then closed my eyes and rested.

Later, I was awoken by Derek who was hitting my shoulder.

"What?" I asked rubbing my eyes,

"Come on, we're gonna leave this submarine any minute now, you must wake the girls up and get ready." He responded,

I sat and saw Kath and Audrey sleeping, I woke them all up and got ready, Derek came with three rifles.

"You guys know how to use these?" He asked,

We all nodded and Derek gave us each, we started reloading it and got ready, we sat first and the submarine shook, we're almost thrown at the side but we managed to hold the bar right next to each of us, Derek came out with the man I just saw and we followed them.

We came outside and we saw that there was a train tunnel ahead of us, I looked far away then Audrey interrupted me.

"You okay?"

"Uh... yeah."

We walked to the man while Derek was on his phone, I overheard his calls actually.

"But, we can't." He said,

"No, it's too dangerous." He continued,

"Why can't you just come here?"

"You didn't brought them?"

"Okay, but you must be there before us."

He hang up the phone and walked towards us.

"Guys, through that tunnel is where there are lots of zombies." He said,

"But, we'll have to walk there." He continued,

"What?" Audrey asked,

"Sorry, but my friends didn't brought soldiers with them, they're on their way and we must walk to there." He responded,

"What if one of us get bitten?" I asked,

"I don't know, but we might just kill him or her."
