Chapter 21

Audrey

I woke up but my visions were blur, It was a white room, suddenly a familiar voice spoke.

"Audrey, you're okay."

I looked behind me to find Christian sitting there, I thought this was a dream since he was here, I was happy to dream of him, I have missed him so much, but still even though I dream of him, I still miss him so much, then I scanned the room, it was like a hospital bed, then Kath came in.

"Audrey, you're awake."

"Uh... what?" I asked confusingly,

"You're awake."

"I think I'm dreaming."

"No, you're not."

"What? But Christian's here."

"Yes, he told me that he was saved, he didn't die."

"How?"

"That day in the Hospital, well he killed almost all the zombie thanks to the gun you gave him, and he managed to went out the window, he was saved by the Helicopter."

"Really?"

They both nodded, so I sat and suddenly my mind thought about Ethan.

"Wait, Ethan? He was bitten, is he okay?" I asked worriedly,

Kath and Christian only looked down, I knew this was bad.

"Spit it out." I said,

Suddenly, Kath laughed, so did Christian, they were both laughing now.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked,

"We're just joking, Ethan was cured immediately while we were at the Helicopter, the guys brought a cure, they said in case one of us got bit." Kath responded,

"You scared me."

"We just tested you if you're worried for him."

"Why?"

"Oh, I don't know, the way you look at him."

"What?"

"Do you remember the name he said one night?"

"What name?"

"The part where you fainted."

"Oh that, you heard the name?"

"Yeah, and do you know what he said?"

"What?"

"The three words struck me actually."

"It's you, Audrey." Kath continued,

My eyes widened, I never thought he felt the same way I did, I smiled and my cheeks were burning, Kath and Christian kept smiling at me. Later, I went out the bed and went out the room, I wanted to go out because I was bored, Kath assisted me, I walk normally and stopped on my tracks as I saw the person that I wanted to see.

"Ethan."

I walked to him, he didn't saw me since he was focusing on his hand, his hand were being stitched, then finally he saw me, he smiled at me and called me.

"Audrey."

I walked towards him, and sat beside him, I hugged his arms and he kissed my cheek, my cheek burned and smiled at him, Kath was looking at us but looked away as we looked at her, Christian came also with Derek.

"You two know each other?" Kath asked,

"Yeah, I actually told him about you." Christian responded,

"What?"

"Yeah, that's why I kept asking you stuffs because I was familiarized by you." Derek said,

"He told me you were long black-haired, white skin, Taken, Christian's Girlfriend, and Pretty." Derek continued,

"Aww... okay." Kath said,

"What about Felicia?" I asked,

"She's dead, she's killed by me." Derek responded,

"And done." The nurse said to Ethan,

Ethan looked at his hands, and smiled at me, I smiled back.

"I guess we should leave them alone for a while." Kath said,

So Kath, Derek, and Christian left, we were alone already and Ethan looked at me.

"I guess, Kath told you." He said,

"Yeah." I responded,

"It's because I told her to, actually."

"Told her to tell it was me?"

"Yeah."

"Well, you're cured."

"Yeah, I am."

I was happy, no people was here so we kissed, it was five seconds long and we parted, we kept laughing and giggling, I smiled at him again, he also did, Kath and Christian came back with four coffees.

"Have some." Kath said as she handed me the other coffee,

Christian gave the other to Ethan, we all drank coffee and just talked about everything that Christian missed, he was happy, actually we all were, then we started laughing and giggling, and that's it, we all were happy.
