My mom had cooked a nice and hot meal for the family. We all gobbled it down like animals. She cooked a ham paddy with honey, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad, and a cake for desert along with some milk. Soon after, we all fell asleep. A few hours later, I woke up. I heard a slight tapping from my window. "What the?" I said, still mostly asleep. I got up to go and check. It was a really windy night.I looked out the window, only to see a tree branch tapping on it. I walked over and laid back down onto my bed. But the lock on the window started to slowly unlock...from the outside. I didn't notice this as I was lying, facing away from the window. The window suddenly flew open. The glass repeatedly banged against the brick walls, flailing within the room. "Gosh dang it!" I said. I got up once again and shut the window. I made sure that the lock was actually locked. Yet again, I walked back over to my soft bed and fell back asleep. Clouds started to roll in, covering the light of the moon that shined brightly into the room.

The next morning, I woke up...not to a very pretty sight. My room was a mess. The window was open again as the doors continued to move around because of the wind. But it didn't make sense. Stuff was thrown around in her room, like someone was looking for something. Clothes were thrown from her dressers, which were still open. It was like someone broke in while I slept. "Mom?" I cried out.

"Yeah?" My mom called back. Her voice was distant.

"Can you come here, please?" I asked.

"Coming, hold on." My mom replied. "What the heck happened in here?" She asked as she walked in. "Why is the window open?" She asked as she walked over and shut the doors.

"I don't know, it opened last night and I closed it. Then I woke up to this mess." I explained as I looked around still.

"It looks like someone broke in here or something." My mom said.

"I know, that's what I thought." I said.

"Look around for anything." My mom commanded.

"How? Everything is scattered everywhere." I said, still looking around.

"And? You never know. Dig through it all." She commanded again. Me and my mom started digging through the whole mess. We started from the dressers and slowly made our way to the window itself. I started looking in the window way. I started walking around it when I accidentally kicked something across the floor. Something I hadn't recognized before. I walked over to it as it rested on the floor and against the wall. It was small and golden with circular shape. I picked it up and examined it. I saw a little latch on the side. I pulled it. Nothing happened. Then pulled it again. This time I tried to pull the top off. It flipped open. It was a watch. I closed it and the latch locked it. I turned it over to look for any initials or even a name. There surprisingly was actually a full first and last name.

"Mack...Wilston?" I said, reading out the name.

"Who's that?" Her mom asked in curiosity.

"I don't know, but now we know that someone defiantly broke in." I said.

"You sure? Maybe it's a hand-me-down or something." My mom suggested.

"No, I don't remember anyone giving me this watch, let alone anyone with this name of...Mack." I explained.

"Well, we need to get the guards here now then to report a break in." Her mom said. She walked out to grab and talk to my dad. Her dad came bursting through the doors, only to see the huge mess.

"What the hell happened?!" He yelled. Dakota came in behind as she yawned and was rubbing her eye.

"What happened?" She asked quietly.

"Someone broke in." I said.

"Who?!" Her dad demanded.

"I don't know. Someone named...Mack...Wilston." I said as I read the name again.

"Who's that?!" My dad said.

"I don't know." I said.

"Well when I find him, he's a dead man." My dad threatened. "No one, breaks into my castle, especially my daughter's room! And gets away with it!" He yelled.

"I'll call the guards and. We'll have a manhunt." Her mom said.

"Go ahead. I'll hunt him myself. Gaurds!" He called. Multiple of the castles guards came running in.

"Yes sir!" One gaurd said.

"Get my horse and sword ready. Put the city on full lockdown. No one gets in or out." He demanded

"Sir, that's marshal law." One gaurd said.

"I know, now go and alert all the other guards." He said

"Yes sir."

"Cool, marshal law." Dakota said.

"This is not something to play around with." Our mom said. "Did he tell the guards to look for this Mack guy?"

"No" Nicky said.

"Can I get a guard in here?" She called. A guard came in.

"Yes ma'am?" He asked.

"Can you alert all of the guards in the city to also look out for and arrest a man named Mack...what is it again?" She asked as she turned to look at me. I looked at the watch again.

"Mack Wilston."

"Mack Wilston." Her mom repeated as she looked at the guard again.

"Got it." The guard said as he walked out to alert the others.

"Who's that?" Dakota asked. "Does Nicky have a boyfriend now?" She said playfully.

"Shut. Up." I said.

"Hey, this is no time to joke around or to tease others." Our mom said.

"I just wanna know who this person is." Dakota explained.

"Someone that broke into the castle. We don't know who he is." Our mom explained.

"Oh, ok." Dakota said as she walked out and back into her room.

"Well, I guess we'll wait and see." Our mom said.

"Yeah." I said.

"I told you to stay away from her!" The voice yelled at Mack as he was sitting on his bed.

"I couldn't help myself but just wonder about her." He said.
