"You said you wouldn't go near her!" The voice yelled.
"I know, I know, I'm sorry!" Mack pleaded.
"You always break your promises! This is why I never trust you!" The voice said.
"I just can't resist but think about her." Mack explained. He looked down at his feet in shame.
"Well, this 'plan' doesn't involve catching feelings for anyone dim wit." The voice said angrily.
"I know, but...can't we just look for another candidate?" Mack asked.
"No, it's too late now. You've already casted the first spell into her room." The voice said. There was a sudden knock at the door.
"City guards, anyone home?" someone said. Mack walked over to the door and opened it. Two guards stood there. "Stay in your homes. The city is on full lock down. You're now put on marshal law." He said.
"What happened?" Mack asked.
"We're not allowed to give out any information at this time." The guard said. They turned and walked down the street to the next house. Mack closed the door and turned around, leaning on the door. He slowly lowered himself to the ground against the door.
"What am I doing?" He asked himself. Then, a dark shadow appeared across the room from Mack.
"You're joining me in restoring the true peace reality." The figure said. The figure started walking towards Mack, revealing himself. He had on a full suit and was bald. He looked like he was in his mid sixties.
"Whatever you say, Kanthar." Mack said in a mumble.
"We both know that this reality is a beast, and the only way to kill a beast, is with a beast, like fire against fire." Kanthar explained.
"We're not destroying the reality tho." Mack said reassuringly.
"Oh no, we're just gonna take it over and create a new, not a broken system." said Kanthar.
"Ok, just making sure." Mack said with a concerned expression on his face. Kanthar had a huge grin growing on his semi-wrinkled face.

Back at the castle, a guard walked into the room where Zao and I were sitting. "We've arrested thirteen people that may have possibly been involved in this." He explained.
"Good work, interview them all. Make sure pressure is put on them during the interviews. See if they know anyone that might have done this if they prove to be innocent." Zao commanded.
"Yes sir." The guard said as he walked out. Zao sighed and looked over at me.
"We'll find this Mack." He said.
"And if we don't?" I asked.
"Then, we'll just have to move on from this." He said. "Maybe when you become a guard, you'll catch him one day." He said with a smile.
"Have you looked up any documents in regards to his name?" I asked.
"You know, that's a great idea, I didn't even think of that." He said. "I'm sure glad you'll be my lead guard and eventually the leader of this reality, just like your dad."
"I know."
Night began to fall upon the city. Still nothing about Mack. Zao couldn't find any papers that related to a Mack. As the sun began to set, I decided to go up to the roof again to watch the sun set.
"Kun tu pasa" I whispered under my breath, but nothing happened. "Kun tu pasa" I repeated louder. Still nothing. I heard footsteps coming up behind me. "What the...?" I said as I turned my head. Right before I could see anything, a bag was placed over my head. I started to scream for my life.
"Leven silento!" A voice shouted. Suddenly, I fell silent. I couldn't speak. My mouth couldn't open, nor could I make any noise.
"Yen casa!" The voice shouted again. I then fell asleep.
The next morning, I woke up to a small ray of sunlight shining through a window and onto my face. I was sitting down, tied onto a stiff, wooden chair. My mouth had a rag tapped over it. Then, a shadowed figure started walking up to me. I mumbled. The figure removed the rag but the tape was left on.
"You gonna scream or cooperate?" He asked. I didn't respond. He ripped off the tape from around my mouth and the back of my neck. "Well well, look who it is, the daughter of Zao." He said. Suddenly, something clicked inside my brain.
"You!!!" I yelled at him. "You disgusting murderer!"
"What? Thought you'd never see me again?" He asked.
"You should be dead for murdering those innocent people!" I yelled. I looked over and saw a boy that was my age siting in a chair in a corner, watching everything. "Who's he?" I asked.
"Oh him?" Kanther said as he turned and looked at the boy. "That's the boy that was in your room." He said.
"Mack! You little bi-!" I screamed.
"Ah ah, don't even think about cursing him out, it's not his fault that he's an idiot." Kanthar said as he cut Nicky off.
"I could care less." I said.
"Just wait until my dad finds out." Nicky said. I secretly pressed a little button that was in my hand that I always kept on me. Within ten seconds, multiple guards busted through the door.
"Everyone on the ground now!" A guard yelled.
"We're compromised! Mack run!" Kanthar yelled as he busted through the window. Mack also jumped through the window.
"After them now!" The same guard commanded.
"You ok?" he asked me.
"I'm fine, could you just get me home?" Nicky asked.
"Sure thing." said the guard. We made our way back to the castle. We entered and my mom came running to me. She hugged me very tightly.
"Oh my gosh! I was so worried!" My mom said.
"I know, but I'm safe now. Where's dad?" I asked.
"He's in your room. He's been in real bad shape ever since you disappeared." She explained.
"I have some very important and bad news for you guys...and this reality." I said.
"Oh no...lets go then." My mom said. We walked over and entered my room where my dad was sitting on the bed with a tear rolling down his cheek.
"Honey?" My mom called out. He didn't look up. "Someone's here to see you." She said. My dad looked up.
"Nicky!" He yelled. He immediately got up from the bed and hugged me. "Are you ok?" He asked as he grabbed both of my shoulders, examining me.
"Yeah I'm fine." I said. "But we have a problem. Kanthar's alive." I said with my eyes growing larger.
"What?! Impossible! He should be dead! I killed him myself!" He yelled. "That can't be!"He was in shock. Anger consumed his happiness. "We're gonna find him. Was he the one that broke into your room?" He asked.
"No, it was Mack. Mack is his assistant." I explained.
"Well, we can't let them take control of the city, or else." He said.
"Or else what?" My mom asked asked.
"This city is the main core of this reality. Underneath our very feet is the power chamber of it all, the heart of this special reality. where dark and good power meet." He said thoroughly. "His main goal is to destroy this reality. If he can destroy it, then he can destroy all realities." He said as he sat back down on the bed.
"Nicky, you're going to be a guard a lot sooner than we expected. Your training starts tomorrow." He said as he looked at me. I became worried as I held my right arm with my left.
