Chapter 3: Cat Fun!

Angela humms cheerfully while eating breakfast before heading to school.

"You seem to be in an awfully good mood today." Her sister exclaims. "Did you find a new husibendoo?"

Angela wanted to ignore her comment but she knew that would just get her sister to poke and prad at her.

"First off, it's pronounced Husbando, and second no. Let's just say my friend gave me a good surprise yesterday."

Angela grabs her drink filled with apple juice, that she poured not to long ago, and takes a drink.

"...Did she confess to you?"

Angela spits her drink out back into her cup. She wasn't expecting a comment like that to happen!

"No!" Angela says throwing a caughing fit from the drink.

"You sure?"

"Yes! I'm sure!"

Her sister shrugs "if you say so... Or you're just hiding in a closet right now."

Angela really wants to hit her sister but instead she goes and puts her cup and plate in the sink and just le.

After passing Sokato's house she comes running out the door to Angela. This time she's wearing a straw hat. Sokato comes up to Angela and pulls down her shoulder a little to whisper in her ear.

"Remember its a secret."

Angela smiles "of course!"

   Next thing Angela knows is she's being Woking up by a rolled up paper packet hitting her head. She raises her head off her desk to see Mr. Skel, the teacher, not to happy.

"I wouldn't be sleeping if I was you." Then he looked at Sokato then back at Angela. "...But thanks to your friend I allowed you to yesterday. Today I won't take any excuse." He walks back up to the front of the class unrolling the packet and flipping back to his original page. "Anyway... John James Audubon was noteable and famous for being a painter and a ornithology who fou..."

   Angela zoned him out, she just stared out the window till the lunch bell rang. Angela and Sokato sat on a staircase that led to the roof. Since nobody walks by here. It's a perfect place to eat and chat in peace.

"Stop watching anime all night!" Sokato tries to scold Angela, AGAIN.

"I'm sorry its just that I had to watch this one though. It had a nekomimi in it and it was adorable and I couldn't pass it up."

"Well you should be thinking about your grade. What if you get held back? Then you wouldn't be able to go on the senior trip."

"Ug, you sound like my mom now," then Angela remember what the teacher said, "oh yeah, what did the teacher mean back in the classroom."

"Oh that, I just convinced him that you were tired because you stayed up all night studying with me."

Angela stays quiet and stares at her untill Sokato looks at her.

"What?"

"Aw! You're the nicest friend ever, I mean that! A real life saver." Angela says hugging and petting her all of a suddenly.

"A-Angela stop that, your going to knock my hat off!" Sokato says embrassed.

"I'm sorry I can't walk home with you this time." Angela says like she did something bad.

"Why not?!" Sokato asks, "did you get in trouble when I wasn't looking?"

"No No nothing like that. I just have to run an errand for my mom real quick. After that I'll stop by your house, okay?"
