Chapter 7: Food Challenge

"Are you sure you're okay?" Sokato asks

"Yes...! For the third time, I'm fine" Angela responds.

"But you don't seem tired this time."

   Sokato gets surprised over the littlest accomplishments Angela does. Even if it's something like getting her proper hours of sleep. Though she thinks Sokato can have a little more faith in her and not freak out at school. But she knows Sokato won't make a really big scene because she knows she doesn't like being a center of attention in a crowd.

"It's because I finnished an anime series last night and couldn't find another one to watch so I went to bed fairly early."

   Before Sokato could respond to her, Mr. Skel hushed the class down to begin teaching. After about 5 minutes trying hush them before they finally got quiet. He asks a question.

"Why is John Hancock so important?" His eyes dart around the room but Angela didn't really bother.

   She didn't know the answer neither did she want answer really. She starts to yawn not out of tiredness, but habit, she likes to think.

"Angela thanks for volunteering to answer." Mr. Skel says. Out of surprise Angela trys to say what?! But once she breathed in fast she choked on her spit and started coughing. "Glad to see you're really hype to answer the question."

   Angela's eye were a little watery from coughing and she gave Mr. Skel a glare. But she doesn't know if he could if it was a glare or if she was about to cry.

She opens her mouth to answer.

Lunch time

"Oh it wasn't that bad of an answer." Sokato says sitting next to Angela on the roof.

"It was to!" Angela responds "The teacher didn't even know what to say to that answer. He just pushed up his glasses and chose someone else. He knew I didn't know the answer."

"I'm sure your just imagining things."

"No, i'm sure he wanted me to suffer. I'm like his prime target for things."

"Well mabey if you didn't do crazy or acted stupid in front of him mabey he wouldn't use you as a bad example." Sokato says softly but harshly.

"Hey, someone has to take the role of class clown." Angela says with pride.

"Not really..." Sokato says quietly to herself, then says normally "I wish you didn't take that role."

   The roof door opens grabbing Sokato and Angela's attention. Making them stop their conversation, It was Ryuu. He walks toward them and he stops in front of them.

   Angela wondered what he's doing back. She thought he would be to embrassed to even face Sokato after what happened. She means, isn't like someone worst nightmare to get rejected but even more she walked out. Which to be fair she did make Sokato do that stuff against her will. Mabey she did go a little over bored the other day.

He smiles holding up is lunch box "Mind if I eat lunch with you guys?"

   Not only does he walk up to her, he flat out asks to have lunch with someone he has a crush on.

"Why? So you can hit on Sokato again?" Angela says, Sokato stays silent.

"No, I learned my lesson from that. "He says doing a little gesture with his free hand. "I'm sorry about the other day. I just got a little to excited when I saw Sokato's ears and my brain didn't know what to do or think at that moment."
