White Wedding Pt. 1

Cedrick had insisted on me going with him in his car while Dominick went off on his own. My two besties sitting in the back, quiet as mice. Which was normal for Nora but for Raven? Nope. I turn to look at her and saw how shook she was, I know me talking to a guy is a big deal which I've never been comfortable with. They both know how epic tonight was, considering that Asher was the first guy that I ever talked to.

I've never talked to a guy, in that sense, I always run away. I don't blame the guys however, I blame myself and the crippling experience I let consume me.

Trying not to think back to it, I was interrupted by Cedrick's yelling. "Do you even know him?! He could have been a murderer or could have drugged you kiddo! I was looking for you and then found Raven without you, I mean I thought of the absolute worst. Dom was ready to hurt every man in sight."

I roll my eyes while looking out the window so he wouldn't see me, but I'm also feeling so grateful for having the brothers that I have.

"Cedrick I'm sorry but I was just trying to have a good time, I could have texted you but I just didn't want you guys to worry about me. It's my birthday celebration and I was just trying to have a wonderful time."

My brother looks at me with a little guilt on his face but he soon grabs my hand giving it a little squeeze. "I have to talk to Dominick he's probably mad at me." My brother shakes his head, "He's not mad at you kiddo, he just doesn't want anything bad to happen to you. Neither do I. But I get that you're growing and sooner or later you'll start to date." Giving him a small smile I turn to look at my best friends who were surprisingly knocked out. I turn to look at Cedrick who also saw that they were knocked out and we both start laughing.

But soon I stop thinking about who called me earlier in the bathroom at the club. Andrew. I didn't know whether or not to tell Ced, but I'm thinking it would be best or else they would find out eventually.

"Hey um. Andrew called me when I was in the bathroom in the club, he said him and mom were coming home tomorrow, but then I asked him where she was he said that she was basically wasted. But he talked to me like if he was my father or something." As soon as his name came out of my mouth Cedrick's hands on the steering wheel turned white. I gulped thinking that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to tell him.

"And why on earth would he talk to you as if he was important? I'm telling you now Allura, I don't like you staying there one bit. I'll tell Dom later-" "But-" Cedrick is shaking his head, "No buts Allura, I have to tell Dom. Andrew is just a sleazy asshole, I don't know what he's up to or what he wants but I know damn well he's just using mom."

We finally arrive to my house, I jump out the car and open the back door to wake Nora up while Cedrick tries to wake up Raven. Nora sleepily gets out the car and walks up the steps to the door meanwhile I hear Raven laughing, "I'm up! I'm up!" Looking back at the car I see Cedrick tickling Raven who is now making her way out of the car. "Gosh Lulu your brother is a pain in the arse. I would have eventually woken up." I roll my eyes, "Yeah you would have woken up tomorrow in his car if we didn't wake you."

Nora laughs shaking her head and I grab the keys from my purse, when I finally get the door open the girls rush their way to my room. I look back at my brother who waves before leaving he yells, "love you kid!"

"Love you too!!" I yell waving back watching him drive off.

Waking up I feel hot. Really hot. Stretching myself out I kick something... or someone. "Ow!! ALLURA!" My eyes snap open forgetting that Raven and Nora slept over. I was extremely exhausted from last night remembering all the dancing I did with Raven, and then there was Asher.

Nora gets up stretching while I see Raven rubbing her head from where I kicked her. Whoops.

"Jesus girl. If I didn't know you I would have assumed you kicked hard from playing sports. But you didn't so, WHAT THE HELL?!" Giggling I scoot my way over patting her head, "You know I did play some sports with the boys. That's the price you pay for being the only girl."

Getting up I go to the restroom quickly doing my business then jump in the shower before I have to clean the house up. After my shower I make sure to leave the fan on so that the fog can go away. Going back into my room both Raven and Nora are laying down on my fuzzy carpet. They both look up at me smirking, and I know what they are gonna ask me.

"So who's Asher??"

My cheeks feel hot and I realize I'm blushing. Also new. I never blush or even knew I can blush but since meeting Asher last night I feel like blushing just might be a regular thing for me.

"Well... when you left, we just sort of got to talking. We went out to the patio he bought me a water and we just talked before you guys came. He's really nice and..beautiful." Here comes the blushing again. Nora giggles while Raven looks like a proud mom. "Did you at least get his number?" Nora cuts in, "Please tell me you did!! You and him just looked so cute standing there together!"

"We did exchange numbers actually before I left. Now I know you guys want juicy details but that's literally it, well he did actually kiss my cheek." Both of my besties are now squealing clapping their hands! "It finally happened bless!"
I smack Ravens leg while getting up to pick up my phone from charging. My lock screen is filled with miss calls from my mother, my brother, and one from Asher.

"HOLY CRAP!"

"WHAT?" Nora and Raven rush over to me and see my screen, noticing who texted me. "Holy shit Allura, what are you gonna say?"

"I don't know! I don't even know what his text says oh my god." I'm hyperventilating, maybe I should ignore it. No, nope that's not a good idea.

I swipe on the message and it opens up the text from Asher:

Asher: Hello Allura. Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time last night. I do recall about asking you to celebrate your birthday, would tonight work?

Blood is rushing to my cheek again good lord. Nora pats my back for some reason and Raven is grinning like the Cheshire Cat. "Oh my god. He wants to go out tonight. I think I might faint."

Nora giggles, "Allura go! Raven and I have literally waited for this day!!" "Gee thanks guys!" They both laugh as I figure out what to reply.

Me: Hello Asher. Thank you for your company last night it was, nice. Tonight would be great, where shall I meet you?

Within two minutes I get a reply,

Asher: I'll pick you up, send me your address. I'll be there by 6. Look forward to seeing you, beautiful.

Raven and Nora are both squealing as I read the text out loud, "He wants to pick me up!! What if my mom sees oh my god."

"So what?! You are going out with him! Send him the deets and let's get a move on!" I quickly reply with my address and head downstairs to walk the girls out. "We'll want to know all the details! Don't forget to tell us where you are just in case he turns out to be a creep."

"Wow guys okay thanks byeee!"

I run around the house cleaning putting the trash out, wiping down the counters, vacuuming the living room, and finally clean my room yet again. Just as I was finishing up, I hear the front door close and I rush down the stairs to see Andrew and my mom arms around each other, laughing. Gross.

My mom sees me and comes over hugging me, "Oh honey I have such great news!! You won't believe it!"

"Okay well let's hear it then." My mom extends her arm out to Andrew who now has a smirk on his face, "This weekend we saw Andrews mother to visit her but to also have her blessing. " Okay, now I'm confused, "Blessing for what?"

My mom is smiling so big and holds her left hand out where on her wedding finger, she has a ring. What the fuck?

That rock is so huge I bet it's heavy on her finger. I'm taken back not fully comprehending what is going on.

"We got married little lady!"

And just like that life got more complicated..
