"Someone seems pissed," Yugyeom comments after Band class the next day, as Youngjae is muttering underneath his breath. "Things didn't go too well yesterday during lunch?"

"No." Youngjae plucks his phone from his pocket and denies Jasmine's call. "She was constantly flirting with other dudes and had the audacity to accept the number of some guy that kept checking her out. I'm pretty sure they're meeting up tonight at a restaurant."

"That stings," Jinyoung says, putting his saxophone away. "Just break up with her then, if she's going to act like that. Not only is she missing out on an amazing person but she's also probably just looking for a good fuck,"

"And if she does cheat on you I'm gonna beat the crap outta her," Jackson says from behind Youngjae, walking into the Band Room while still wearing his gym clothes. "Sorry bro, I saw it go down yesterday, sucks to suck."

"Right." Youngjae huffs and shoulders his backpack. After a bit of hesitation, Jinyoung, Yugyeom, and Kunpimook follow, and then Jackson and Mark and Jaebum walk after him too. "Oh great, fucking hell -"

"Let's go," Jinyoung says quickly. He tries to pull on Youngjae's sleeve to get him away from the sight of Jasmine flirting openly with a dude from Youngjae's Math class. Youngjae gives in after glaring at the two, going unnoticed, and Jinyoung pats his back. "I'll buy you your lunch for today, okay?"

"You don't -"

"I insist." Jinyoung cuts off Youngjae. "It's unfair of her to go to some other dude when you reject her call once."

"Plus, you should break up with her," Jackson says.

The topic drops when they walk into the cafeteria. Youngjae looks over his shoulder and just catches Jaebum making a sudden turn to the left before he disappears behind the wall. But Youngjae can't ask about it because Jinyoung is already asking him what he wants from the menu of that day and not to bother the prices of it all.

"So, anything exciting going on?" Mark asks as they sit down at their usual table in the cafeteria, in the middle of all the chaos.

"Mr. Divins introduced the idea of going either to Disneyland in Los Angeles or somewhere in Canada," says Yugyeom. "Most of us voted for Disneyland so he went to see if there was anything close by that we could go to but there wasn't so he emailed the Disneyland LA company owners thingy and fixed that we can perform in one of their restaurants."

"Which, of course, makes it all ten times more important so we have to make sure that we play our songs perfectly," said Kunpimook, stealing from Jinyoung's fries. "I feel sorry for the Jazz kids that will struggle through that, too."

"And the kids who are in Jazz and Choir, because Choir kids are going too," Youngjae says. "Which only means I'll be stuck with my brother once more."

"But it won't be that bad, will it?" Mark asks. "Considering that you're both in different programs."

"Yeah," Youngjae opens the wrapper of his burger. "I guess that's true."

"Thought about rooms yet?"

"Kuhn and I are sticking together," says Yugyeom. "Dunno about Youngjae and Jinyoung and Jaebum."

"The three of us could always have a room to ourselves," says Jinyoung. "I remember last year's overnight trip where we managed to convince Mr. Divins to let Youngjae and I have a room for just us two. It'll just be a bit more cramped than that but at least it won't just be boring."

"Maybe, I don't know," Youngjae shrugs. "Ew, there's cucumber on this."

"What's wrong with cucumber?"
