Youngjae doesn't go to the dance.

The afternoon of the dance he's throwing up again, headache kicking back in and Yoona schedules a doctor's appointment the following morning to check if the concussion might be worse than Jaebum's mom thought.

Jinyoung spams his texts, asking where he is and why he skipped on the dance when he finds out that Youngjae didn't go. Though Youngjae reads the texts, he decides to be an asshole and leave Jinyoung on read.

"Are we doing anything for the long weekend?" Youngjae asks during dinner that night.

Yoona puts down her phone after sending a text to someone and shrugs her shoulders, "Mom and Dad originally wanted us to come to France with them for three days but I don't think that it'll go through since you have a concussion."

"Oh."

Youngjae's kind of upset that he's the reason why their weekend plans are cancelled but Yoona dismisses it by pouring him another glass of water and beginning to start the conversation about studying for final exams.

"Can I go back to school the day after tomorrow?" Youngjae asks.

"Depends on what the doctor says," Yoona says, picking up her phone when it vibrates from a text message. "If he suggests more rest then I can assure you that you're staying home for another week."

Conversations draw out until it's past eight and the sun is setting, and when Jaehoon is beginning to clean up the dishes the doorbell rings. Youngjae flinches away at the sound but Yoona jumps up and rushes to the door. She opens it, talks with someone for a little while, and then walks back into the living room.

"Someone's here to see you, Youngjae."

Youngjae looks up, gulps when he sees Jaebum's face in the doorway, and hurries off the couch and into the hallway, hurriedly closing the door before facing Jaebum. It's slowly turning dark outside but even in the dimness, Youngjae can see every curve of Jaebum's features.

"You didn't go to the dance?"

"No," Jaebum says, visibly biting his tongue. "Dances and parties aren't really my forte."

"Then why are you here? Shouldn't you be at home doing homework or something?"

"Yoona texted me, asked me to come over around this time." Youngjae takes a deep breath and turns around, ready to open the door and start yelling at Yoona for being so stupid for hauling Jaebum back into this but Jaebum seizes his wrist and keeps him in place. "We have to talk, Youngjae."

"About what? I think it's clear what happened and I'm sure someone'll tell you tomorrow. You shouldn't even be here, Jinyoung'll be pissed if he finds out that you're with me."

"Don't listen to Jinyoung, Youngjae. He doesn't know shit about what really happened." Jaebum lets go of Youngjae's wrist slowly and Youngjae stays in place. "He's just assuming and being his over-protective self over me. Don't listen to his threats to cut off your dick - I've seen his texts, his password isn't the safest, to be honest," Jaebum says, quickly adding the last part when Youngjae begins to complain. "But what would I be told tomorrow?"

"I was called in to go to the office a few days ago," Youngjae sighs. "Jasmine was there and she admitted to following us out of the park that night and she recorded everything and put it on my Instagram. She's apologizing during the dance."

"I already doubted that you did it," Jaebum admits. "You don't even know Korean and you can't learn it no matter how many times I try to teach you. Plus, you hate Google Translator."
