"I can't believe that we'll be going to Disneyland..." Yugyeom sighs. "And in a month, too!"

"If you're still not believing in then you better start believing it because it's true," Youngjae grins, and Yugyeom rolls his eyes.

"At least you guys will be going somewhere exciting," says Jackson enviously. "I want to go but all we get to do on the basketball team is go on boring trips to other schools to play matches against them."

"At least you two are doing physical activity," snorts Jinyoung. "You should see Youngjae try and run - hey, give that back!"

Youngjae grins even wider and drinks from Jinyoung's bottle of Dr. Pepper, and suddenly Jackson's laughter at the two dies down and awkwardness is tense in the air.

"Jae baby,"

Youngjae froze, and then bit his tongue and put the bottle down, before standing up and turning around to face Jasmine.

"Jasmine."

"Jaejae? What's wrong?"

"A lot of things, actually," said Youngjae, stepping around the edge of the bench to stand in front of Jasmine. Some students sitting nearby stopped to watch, and Youngjae could hear Jinyoung telling Mark that he had to sit down. "Where have you been in the last two days, Jasmine?"

"I was sick," Jasmine frowns.

"So you were sick at home and probably laying around in bed, yet you don't even answer my calls even when I have called many times?" Youngjae crosses his arms.

"Honey, you rejected my call -"

"That was one time and five minutes later I walk in on you flirting with another boy." Youngjae narrows his eyes at the girl, and she tries to take a step back. "Jasmine, I think we should break up."

"Youngjae!" Jasmine exclaims. "You can't just do that -"

"Actually, yes I can. Things just aren't going well between us and I think it'd be better for both of us if we would part."

There is a brief moment of silence and then a lot of things happen at once, though Youngjae can only experience part of it as a second later he feels a stinging pain in his cheek and he almost loses his balance if it weren't for Mark pushing him back to his feet. He looks back up at Jasmine, clutching his burning cheek, and looking at her with shocked, wide eyes.

Jasmine lowers her hand and smirks while most of the cafeteria bursts out in whispers.

"You are not breaking up with me," Jasmine says firmly.

"If he says so, then he does so," comes an unexpected voice, and Youngjae is shocked to see Jaebum standing in front of them, arms crossed and glaring at Jasmine.

"And who do you think you are?" Jasmine huffs. "I'm pretty sure this is not your business."

"Oh, and the boy you were making out with at the very cafe Youngjae works at yesterday surely isn't involved in your business either?" Jaebum counters. "And the boy you were obviously flirting with two or three weeks ago, or so, when Youngjae rejected your call isn't involved either?"

'Oooh's ring through the cafeteria at Jaebum's words and Jasmine burns bright red, making to slap Jaebum, but the older boy catches her hand before she can do so and throws it back at her side.

"Don't you even dare slap me, but feel free to do so because Youngjae and I can always report you for hurting us."

"I'll report you two just back!" Jasmine screeches.

"For what?" Jaebum snickers. "For talking with you? Breathing the same air as you?"

"You -" Jasmine glares at Jaebum. "This is not over. And fine, break up with me if you want to, fucking asshole, but trust me that you will regret it."

She glares at Youngjae and then she turns around and leaves. For a moment, the cafeteria is completely silent as Youngjae looks at Jaebum, expecting the older boy to break out into a blush and a sweat.

It happens after a few seconds of standing frozen and look at where Jasmine has been moments ago. Youngjae notices Jaebum's hands beginning to shake and his face beginning to turn bright red and Jinyoung quickly tells everyone to go back to what they were doing before drama went down, and Youngjae sits down and pulls Jaebum on the bench beside him.

"Well that was eventful," Mark sighs. "Here, Jaebum. Take my fries, I don't want them anymore anyway."

Jaebum refuses Mark's offer and even underneath the table, as Youngjae's thigh is touching Jaebum's thigh, Youngjae can feel Jaebum shake furiously.

"Let's just forget what just happened - Jaebum, you're finally in the cafeteria again!"

"I know." Jaebum gnaws on his bottom lip. "I don't like it."

"You'll get used to it again, I promise," says Mark. Youngjae glances at Yugyeom and Kunpimook - the two seem quite confused as to what is going on and Youngjae decides to ask Jinyoung later if he can tell the two younger boys about Jaebum's social anxiety.

"But anyway, we were talking about how Yugyeom should start believing that we're going to Disneyland."

"Yes, Kunpimook, because we really are." Jinyoung rolls his eyes. "I swear we better go on Splash Mountain when we have the chance."

"And the Haunted Mansion," Yugyeom adds. "We can scare Youngjae -"

"As long as he doesn't faint, that is," Kunpimook snorts.

"Hey, I've never fainted before in my life and I never will!" Youngjae counters.

"Oh trust me, you'll faint someday."

"No I won't, watch me. You won't even catch me falling during a performance."

"What are you even implying with that?" Jinyoung asks with a slight frown.

"I don't even know."

"Youngjae... You're fucking confusing."

Youngjae laughs at Mark and his friends join in, and when he still feels Jaebum's thigh shaking against his he places his hand on it and squeezes the muscles lightly to calm Jaebum slightly, and it seems to be working because the older boy moves closer so their shoulders are touching, too. And even though Jackson seems to notice and he points it out to Yugyeom, neither make any comment about it.

The rest of their lunch-time is spent laughing and even Jaebum joins in, making a few inappropriate jokes despite being watched by many people due to the fact that he never goes into any crowded place, and Youngjae begins to wonder if it is really him that has been helping Jaebum in the past few days.

Guess what

It's almost yo girl's birthday yeeEeEEt

I feel like this year has passed so quickly and i could go on a spiel about how much i loved this year despite the fights i've had with friends or the sad times i've had that have affected (effected?) me so much but i'm not the type to do that so feel special if i ever give you a long spiel about something close to me lol

Anyway, i thought that, since i put up my christmas tree yesterday and still feel in the christmas spirit and am still dying of a bad sickness (no joke i was bed-bound for three days bc i felt like i'd pass out every time i'd stand up) that i would put out chapter ten you're welcome
