After the initial shock of human police officers arriving at the hospital, life settled back into its usual routine.
"WHERE WERE YOU?" Willow yelled when she saw Eddie clock in the next morning.
"Would you believe I accidentally locked myself in a cage?" Eddie asked.
"Well good for you. Do you know where Henry is?" Willow asked.
A flash of irritation passed over Eddie's face. "Why do you care where he is? Would you rather he was here then me?"
Sometimes Willow really did prefer Henry to Eddie. Henry was kinder, more relaxed and just more human.
The Boss had specifically warned them about stating which they liked more, Eddie or Henry. It was a strange request but Willow followed it.
"Maybe he thinks Eddie's some kind of psycho killer." Keris said. "Piss him off enough and he'll kill Henry!"
"Stop reading murder novels." Willow said, shuddering.
"They're not that scary." Keris said, shaking her head.
But Willow had been shuddering at how easy it had been to picture Eddie as a psycho killer.

Willow had finally retreated to the secretaries' desk to talk to Keris.
"I heard the police didn't even finish their investigation." Keris said, painting her already red nails a brighter shade. "Sounds like the Boss is hiding something hmm?"
"I don't know what he would be hiding." Willow said.
"Are you kidding me? Look at us! Any one of us could easily kill something off. Any creature in here could too!"
"I couldn't." Willow said softly. "I don't think Henry could either."
"Alright let's press pause here." Keris said, eyes glittering. They only sparkled like that when she was trolling for new gossip. "You bring up Henry a lot."
"He's my friend." Willow said defensively.
"Is that all?" Keris purred. "Are you sure you don't like him...a little more?"
"No!" Willow yelled. "He's not my crush! I don't have a crush!"
"Well that's bullshit." Keris said. "I mean, I get it. He'd be on the cover of hot nerds weekly, if that was a thing."
Willow's usually pale face betrayed her, turning the color of Keris' nails.
"Aha!" Keris cheered. "I knew it! I will now plan your wedding."
"No no no!" Willow said. "I don't even know if I like him yet."
"Suuuure." Keris said. "Who do you think the best man will be? Eddie?"
"I'm not sure they're even friends. Eddie seems to hate Henry most of the time. Despite wearing his pants this one time."
"What's this?" Keris said, eyes sparkling. "Secret gay relationship?"
"I don't know." Willow said, realizing how much that would really suck for the first time.
"Well it would fit with other theories I've heard, but I honestly thought they were related somehow."
"What do you mean?" Willow asked.
"Well they look similar." Keris said, looking for glitter nail polish.
