Louis is opening his eyes the very next Thursday morning, glancing at Harry sleeping sound beside him. He grins and pushes his messy curls out of his face before he sees Beckham curled up by Harry's legs.
"What are you doing in here?" Louis whispers and pets him, "did Emmy let you in?"
Louis only shakes his head and smiles as he's getting up for the bathroom. Beckham follows him at once and Louis can't help but chuckle.
He slips on his sweatpants and Vans once he's finished, then he's calling for Beckham to follow him out of the room.
Louis closes their bedroom door after taking one last look at his sleeping husband.
He's putting Beckham on his leash, then opening the front door; he lets Beckham roam around while he's yawning and placing his sunglasses over his eyes.
He stares up at the clouds already in the L.A. skies and smiles a little while he's thinking about the last few months.
Time has seemed to fly by to Louis; he can't believe that their twins are almost here... and he and Harry will once again become fathers. This time, however, they will be fathers of boys.
"Morning," Lottie is saying a few seconds later from the front steps.
Louis looks over at her, "hey, sis. Morning. How'd you sleep?"
"I slept ok," Lottie yawns and tries to shield the sunlight from her eyes, "Emma kept me awake until nearly 2 am."
"She was excited," Louis grins, "it's been a while since she's had a sleepover."
"How's Harry?"
"He's fine, why?" Louis glances at her.
"Just curious," Lottie shrugs, "Gem said he wasn't feeling so hot."
"Yeah... the art centre is taking a lot out of him," Louis sighs. "He's pushing himself too hard again."
"He'll be ok," Lottie almost whispers as she smiles at her brother. "He has you."
"Yeah," Louis laughs some as he's walking back to the house, "he has me to worry about him 24/7."
"You shouldn't worry so much," Lottie tells him as she's petting Beckham, "he's going to be fine, Louis."
"I wanna believe that, it's just hard to," Louis mumbles as his sister opens the front door for them.
Beckham runs off through the living room while Louis is putting up the leash and heading to the kitchen.
"Surprised mum hasn't made breakfast," Louis smirks and shakes his head before he's making coffee.
"Well, Anne and mum stayed up with us," Lottie smiles, "so, she may not be awake for a while."
"That's not surprising," Louis chuckles while he's grabbing a coffee mug from the cabinet. He takes out Harry's mug with the capital H on the front and sits it beside his with the capital L.
"You 2 are so extra," Lottie smirks and points to the mugs. "Honestly."
"You'll be just as extra when you're married," Louis grins, "you'll probably have your husband's initials on everything."
Lottie starts to argue before she sees Emma walking in the kitchen. "Morning, Emmy."
"Morning," Emma smiles and looks at her father, "dad, does Pappa have to go to the art centre today?"
"Uh, he said something about going, yeah," Louis nods, "why, love?"
"Because I wanted to go," Emma replies and takes a seat on one of the barstools. "Do you think he'd mind?"
