Louis is pacing the hospital floor in front of Gemma's room, his nerves on edge. He texts Liam and Niall and keeps them updated, though he's really only trying to keep his mind busy.

The door opens and Louis is glancing at Harry in less than a second; he sees those beautiful dimples on his husband's face and somehow he just knows... it's time.

"Gem wants you to come in," Harry whispers as he's wiping his eyes and grinning.

"Uh, is she sure," Louis starts.

Harry takes his hand, "come on... they are yours after all, Lou."

Louis swallows hard and manages to nod as he's slowly following Harry into the room.

"Ok, on this next contraction, I want you to push," the Doctor is telling Gemma.

Harry stands next to his sister, her hand in his, and Harry's other hand is tightly grasping Louis'.

"This is it," Harry whispers over to Louis.

"Yeah," Louis can barely get out, "this is it."

"Are you ready, doctor?" Harry asks him quietly, Louis' eyes meeting Harry's.

He manages to smile at Harry, his eyes stinging, "I've never been more ready in my life."

"You're doing great, Gemma," the doctor is saying, "one more push... I see the head."

Harry's biting his lip, tears falling silently from his eyes as he awaits to hear their son's first cries.

"You've got this, sweetheart," Anne is telling Gemma from the other side of the bed.

And after one more push, the doctor is smiling and glancing at Harry and Louis as the baby's cries fill the room.

"It's a boy."

Harry's gripping Louis' hand even tighter as he's listening to the sounds of their son, the tears flowing down his cheeks.

Louis wipes his eyes quickly before he's grinning and watching the nurse take the baby to clean him off.

"He's perfect," Gemma manages to say though her own tears are falling. She's quickly sighing as she feels another contraction coming on strongly.

"You're doing amazing, sis," Harry manages to tell her as she's gripping his hand once more. "It's almost over..."

The other nurse is counting while Gemma pushes, and the doctor is smiling immediately. "I see the head."

And after 2 more pushes, Harry and Louis hear the sounds of their second son's cries.

Louis covers his mouth and closes his eyes for a moment as he's letting out a huge sigh of relief; all the nervousness and anxiety he has felt begins to fade away while he's listening to both babies crying loudly.

Gemma's smiling as she's trying to slow her breathing, her eyes meeting her brother's beside her.

"They're both perfect," she tells him quietly.

"They are," Harry nods and wipes his eyes quickly.

The nurses are grinning at Louis and Harry as soon as they have both boys swaddled in a blanket.

Harry's the first to step forward, taking their second-born son into his arms; he grins even more as he's sniffing and staring down at this baby boy who shares the same hair as him, the same facial features as him.

Louis sniffs and wipes his eyes before he's taking the smaller of the two into his arms, the tiny baby's blonde hair glowing under the lights. Louis can't help but smile as he's staring down at this small miracle.
